For OCG only: You cannot take priority to activated an ignition effect when it is succesfully summon.

This ruling is not very clear to me. Does it also mean that you cannot take priority to activated an ignition effect of a monster, when a different monster is succesfully summon?96.44.92.186 (talk) 13:59, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

In your turn, when a monster is summoned, a Summon Response window will be opened. In past, you can activate an Ignition Effect in this window first, as chain link 1, as long as there is no Trigger Effect (like Wanghu or Future Vision) stealing that place. Now, you cannot activate Ignition Effect in that window anymore.-- (talkcontribs) 15:11, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Does it also means that you can't activated ignition effect if a Monster is Behing Set, you cannot also activated ignition when a spell or trap card is behing set?96.44.92.186 (talk) 15:36, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

As long as an action is conducted, a Response Window will be opened. You cannot activate Ignition as long as a window is opened.-- (talkcontribs) 22:57, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

Does this also affect prime material dragon?i mean,if my opponent activates trap hole in response to prime material's summoning>can i activate prime material's effect to negate the trap hole?109.242.162.244 (talk) 07:18, May 10, 2012 (UTC)

"You cannot activate IGNITION as long as a window is opened." Tell me, do you know what is Ignition Effect?-- (talkcontribs) 09:42, May 10, 2012 (UTC)

User 109.242.162.244: Prime material dragon effect to negate the activation is not an ignition effect.96.44.92.186 (talk) 13:14, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

ignition effects are spell speed 1. When a monster is summoned/attacks it is considered to be spell speed 2. But a summon and a attack can not be chained to. they can only be responded to. so you can only activate effects that are spell speed 2 or higher to a summon or attack.--Atbender89 (talkcontribs) 16:59, May 14, 2012 (UTC)
