So...This is my deck....I know...It need few more monarch...but I had mobius and one more caius one day ago...and somebody stoled me those two cards....I repeat:ANY HELP IS APPRICIATED!! Thanks! --ShAdOw MonArcH

I have changed something.....I have replaced Chaos Command Magician with Ancient Gear Beast ShAdOw MonArcH I've added Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth Please,can somebody help me??Anyone have a suggestion??What cards I should get rid of??What card should I add??please any help helps :) -- BY ShAdOw MonArcH

Suggestions

There's a LOT of stuff in here, good stuff, but stuff that doesn't belong. For monsters, try focusing on a way to summon out the monarchs, for instance, you could take out the man eater bug, the grave squirmer, the mask, the gaia knight, and replace them with monsters that are either hard to get rid of or keep coming back, like Treeborn Frog, Marshmallon, Spirit Reaper, and The Tricky, along, of course, with more monarchs. Spells look good, you might want to take out one lightning vortex for another soul exchange. And for traps, you could replace the magic cylinder and one of the sakuretsu armors for two more scrap iron scarecrows, since they can be used over and over to keep your monsters alive. --ZeroLife0L 17:15, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Draw Power and a few More Tips!

The majority of Monarch Decks I have seen tend to have a fair bit of draw power in order to

speed through the deck faster to get to the Monarchs ( which are the heart of a Monarch deck! )

So I shall suggest these two cards:

Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive ... I use three of these in my Macro Monarch / Plasma Deck.

Reckless Greed ... legal at three and the bad side effect will not stack!

For instance: you set two and play them both at the start of your next turn.

You would draw one card for your turn and 4 more for your Reckless Greeds.

That would be a gain of 5 cards in one turn and you would only skip your next two draw phases!

I have seen many Monarch Decks run three of those too.

ZeroLifeOL is right... Treeborn Frog is a must have card for Monarch Decks.

Use Foolish Burial in order to dump the Treeborn Frog right to the grave.

You might also want to come up with other "free special summons" like:

Spell Striker and Cyber Dragon

Summon one of them and pop out a monarch.

Legendary Jujitsu Master is an all around great disruption card. I have seen a few played in

Monarch Decks before. ( not sure if I would run it ) But it is worth a try.

Arcana Force 0 - The Fool is a newer common that is similar to Marshmallon

You just set it facedown to avoid the coin toss thing and it can't be killed by battle!

Hmm... I'd throw in a Gorz the Emissary of Darkness. He is always a nice surprise to throw down.

But, umm... having to keep your field empty is pretty bad.

And umm.. throw in a Call of the Haunted it will be legal again in September.

Do you play in Tourneys?

take out all tribute monsters you currently have and add some more Monarchs and if you can get one a Dark Armed Dragon.Also a couple of Allure of Darkness would help and maybe another Krebons or two along with a copy of Emergency Teleport. Monarch1 18:21, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah...you have right...If I want to have a real monarch deck I must replace all other High-Levels with some monarch's. But those cards are great and they are helping me in bad situations like Patrician of drakness, he can choose a attack target...or Ancient Gear Beast....When he is attacking, my opponent cannont activate spells and traps until the end of the damage step....The creator can birng me back monster's from my graveyard with just discarding one card....So with this High-Levels I can only replace Patrician of darkness....and maybe,but just maybe Ancient Gear Beast Wtih some monarch's.... that's fine, it provides bounce power, getting rid of one of your opponent's monsters while keeping yours, just what you need for monarchs. --ZeroLife0L 14:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

You don`t need Patrician of Darkness for a monarch deck, you need Spirit Reaper, Cyber Dragon or Cure Mermaid and also Breaker the Magical Warrior isn`t for a monarch deck it have only one spell counter on it and you cant place spell counters on it with your deck.

Yeah, that's right about patrician, I can replace him with Some Monarch...but about breaker, even if he doesn't have a card who can give him a spell counters, he can destroy one spell or trap...that's good....but if I get Cyber Dragon I'll get rid of Breaker and I will add Cyber Dragon to replace him :)... also I need some more monarch,so thank you for your help and you ZeroLife0L and you all who helped me...If anyone have a new idea,just post it here!! :)ShAdOw MonArcH

If I get Tricky, is it clever to replace Ancient Gear Beast with him? I think, Ancient Gear Beast have great specail ability..so, what do you think??Should I replace Beast with tricky if I get him?? ShAdOw MonArcH

I got rid of monster reborn and bazzo-the soule eater and nothing added....now I have 41 or 40 cards in my deck, I am not sure...So, is that good or bad??ShAdOw MonArcH

Ok here is some tips (i am not too good at monarch decks) but hope this helps.
Lets start with the monsters:They are good but you need to have some changes, first of all it would help if you would repleace D.D Warrior with D.D Warrior lady since it is not limited in few days.Mask of darkness is kinda bug so its for the best to repleace it or just throw it out if you want to.The patrician, I know -it is a good card but it would be good for your deck to repleace him with another monarch.
Now about spells, they are looking good but not perfect you coul probably repleace reinforcements of the army with another soul exchange for your monarchs, sorry thats all I can think off now.
The traps, you should repleace atleast one sakuretsu armor for one more scarecrow.

Here it is, but one more tip you dont have any draw power so I rcomend cards like reckless greed or pot of avarice. Thats all. Hope this helps.............:)............BY MAGI-cian

MONSTERS:I replaced Giant rat with crystal seer, to increase my draw power...
Second:I'll try to get another D.D Warrior Lady and replace one D.D Survorior with her because I already have two D.D survoriors...

About spells...I was thinking about to replace nobleman or lightning with another soul exange... And...Finally....Traps:I already know that I need another scrap-iron scarecrow and replace sakuretsu with that.....And I already replaced torriental tribute with reckless greed to increase my draw power...so currently I have a list of cards that I need....so...your help is not helped too much...:P...Anyway...Thanks.. Now for a good monarch deck you need Penguin Soldier, take in Penguin Soldier and take out Neo-Spacian Grand Mole you need some spell cards then take out Lightning Vortex to take in Assault Armor becouse you have a lot of warriors in deck, you can get him in Crimson Crisis booster pack. Now take out some high level monsters like Patrician of Darkness and get Cyber Dragonit`s cool for a monarch deck. If you can`t take out Patrician of Darkness becouse it`s cool i know that than get a field spell Mausoleum of the Emperor and take out Nobleman of Crossout.

You can get Penguin Soldier in Starter Deck 2009. You can get Cyber Dragon in Cybernetic Revolution or in Duelist Pack 4: Zane Truesdale. And you can get Mausoleum of the Emperor in Power of the Duelist.

I've added one more caius and replaced patrician with him...and some other changes as you can see...ALRIGHT, |[PLEASE HELP ME CUZ I NEED ALL HELP I CAN GET]..I know, I must replace Ancient Gear Beast with some other monarch,so currently, I am waiting for him....Now, I am trying to get Tricky, treeborn frog and CYBER DRAGON....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!ShAdOw MonArcH

Repleace high-level monsters with the monarchs, add another soul exchange, that is it.Your deck cannot be improved more............... unless, you change the whole structure of your deck itself..............93.141.100.235 19:53, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

A Couple Ideas

I have a Monarch Deck somewhere, and I'd like to make a few tips.

Add a Raiza the Storm Monarch or two.
Add a Zolga. It provides tribute fodder and Life Point gain.
Replace Man-Eater Bug with Old Vindictive Magician. they are essentially the same, but Old Vindictive Magician is DARK, and as such can be removed by Caius the Shadow Monarch to inflict 1000 damage.
You might want to add more variety to the Monarchs you have in the deck. Granmarg the Rock Monarch can destroy ANY face-down card, and Zaborg the Thunder Monarch can remove potential tribute/synchro material from your opponent's side of the Field.

I Have an Advice

Ancient Gear Beast is good, but if you have a monarch replace Ancient Gear Beast with some monarch.

And please add a list of your side deck to this page than i can help you about spell,traps and some monsters.

if you don`t add a list of cards in your side deck than i have a list of cards that you need for your deck.

What kind of Macro Monarch deck do you call that? That's not right at all! Macro Monarch decks actually use Macro Cosmos, or at least Dimensional Fissure, along with D.D. Survivor and D.D. Scout Plane. That provides constant tribute fodder because the D.D. Monsters revive themselves when the turn ends. This is simply a Monarch deck that uses lots of RFG cards. His brain is not in good condition... :) As I wrote up the decklist this was a dark monarch with some remove from play monsters like D.D. Survivor or D.D. Warriors.

Ok, you are right Runer5h, in writing a few mistakes came out, but anyway insults were not justified even for the worst macro monarch deck, also im not so good at monarchs and I was just trying to help the guy.

Filling a thread with useless posts does not help. You're grammar is hard to understand and you're probably making it more difficult for the asker. That deck is not a macro-monarch deck and there was no point in posting it. Your help is appreciated but stick to the threads that you can actually help with.

I have got one more caius and a lot of cards,actually, I got a lot of cards from dark emperor... So,now I have replaced tribute to the doomed with another Enemy Controller and I have replacer Ancient Gear Beast with one more Caius the Shadow Monarch.....I think that is good decision...I now just have to worry about some low-level monster or some high level like cyber dragon or even some another monarch like zaborg,raiza and etc....alright I want to know what do you all mean about this replacing....Is it GOOD or BAD???

This is good and bad : For Ancient Gear Beast is good, But for Tribute to the Doomed is bad.
