Alright, so I had a quick ruling question regarding Mermail Abyssmegalo and Thunder King Rai-Oh. So here's the story: I discarded Atlantean Heavy Infantry and Mermail Abysslinde to summon Megalo, I know that Rai-Oh can negate Megalo's summon, but since I dropped an Atlantean for Megalo's summon, do I still gain the Atlantean's effect, even if the summon of Mermail Abyssmegalo was negated? --99.33.41.163 (talk) 16:53, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, after the Chain resolves, the effect of the Atlantean will activate because it was sent to the Graveyard as the cost for a WATER monster's effect, regardless of whether that effect resolved successfully or was negated. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 17:12, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Rai-Oh can't negate Abyssmegalo's Summon in the first place. Abyssmegalo starts a chain, and Rai-Oh can only negate Summons that don't start a chain. MadRest 19:16, October 27, 2012 (UTC)
