Tiled images

• Why don't we tile the set images like this?

That way, we can just add the new pack without having to reupload the whole image every time the next pack is available.

Pack size is different, so we can't use the OCG image as a filler, but we perfer using the TCG image... shown both as examples, choose 1... or keep both?

I dunno, but I can tell you the image predates this page. Offhand, I can say that I prefer the single image simply because it looks neater (no gaps between packs), but updateability may overrule aesthetics here. 「ダイノガイ千？！」^{? · ☎ Dinoguy1000} 18:14, August 8, 2011 (UTC)

(long shot) It could encourage some people to learn to upload better images with the preferred size, and with no borders.

It would probably help more if we started with cracking down on card images first, but encouraging the same with booster images wouldn't hurt.

I love those nice, crisp images, but have no idea where the high-quality ones come from; yugioh-card.com used to provide LQ ones, but have more recently changed to providing a more realistic-looking frame (carefully compare the silver fringes in, for example, these two images) 「ダイノガイ千？！」^{? · ☎ Dinoguy1000} 18:52, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

We'll see who's definition of 'later' is longer then :P

Is there a way to make it ignore image size ratios? If there is, that will get rid of the white space, and since it's small, the tiny bit of extra blur shouldn't be noticeable. (there's a bug in the galleries that makes some of the card images annoyingly squared, so it could be possible) -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:12, August 14, 2011 (UTC)

I tried to do that while making the image at the top at first, but it didn't work, seemed to ignore one of them.

MediaWiki seems to keep you from doing stupid-crazy stuff with image sizes, for some reason. Not that it helps, but as I recall, you can do pretty much anything you want with SVG images. 「ダイノガイ千？！」^{? · ☎ Dinoguy1000} 13:19, August 14, 2011 (UTC)

Image fixing

The Dark Illusion

Since The Dark Illusion is confirmed to not be green (something is also telling me that this is a Series 9 set, but I won't leave that to assumptions), we should change that. Shinigami Queen (talk) 15:19, February 22, 2016 (UTC)
