Deletion[edit]

This article should not have been deleted without discussion. It is a valid archetype per the translated text of "Revival Knight". If anyone has a valid reason that this should be deleted, put a deletion tag on it and post here. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:04, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Kanji[edit]

Should "ナイト" cards (e.g. Insect Knight) really be here? kinda like how "シエン" cards are not "紫炎シエン" cards for Shien? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 14:35, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

ナイト is in Jap Furigana (Kana); in Kanji its...(Not Sure My Self); ナイト cards like "Cockroach Knight" don't have any Kanji so far. "Shien" cards 紫炎 (Kanji) (Purple Flame) in their card design like "Kagemusha of the Blue Flame". I found "Tenkabito Shien" it's Kanji has 紫炎, but it's (Kana) doesn't have シエン--Wasn't (talkcontribs) 17:45, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
"Archfiend Mirror" 「悪魔の鏡デーモンズ・ミラー」 is an Archfiend 「デーモン」, so "Insect Knight" should be a "Knight". --Deus Ex Machina 00:50, July 26, 2011 (UTC)
So it's a one way thing; that doesn't care about whether or not if its in the furigana; as long as it contains the whole thing somewhere. I see. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 01:15, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

That's because most or all "Knights" don't have and Furigana (Kana).--Wasn't (talkcontribs) 02:50, July 26, 2011 (UTC)

Just a note, we discussed this same issue (albeit for the Elf and Magic Elf archetypes) over at User talk:Cheesedude#Does an archetype member furigana make?; we came to the conclusion, based on Deus' above example, that "Magic Elf" is indeed an "Elf" subarchetype. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 02:16, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
Kanji is borrowed from Chinese; What's the Diff. bet... furigana and Kana?--Wasn't 12:14, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
Furigana is small Kana that is written above Kanji to help people read Kanji. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 13:36, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
Then What's Kana?--Wasn't 17:34, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
Kana is just an "umbrella" term which covers both katakana and hiragana (it also covers the ancient man'yōgana script ancestral to both). ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 18:55, September 8, 2011 (UTC)
