I'm just a girl doing things, so please:

  • Do not beg for my attention
  • Do not ask for contact information
  • Do not question what I do here
  • Ignore me.

I don't mean to come off as rude, or conceited, but a lot of players have no idea what they're even doing. Many players will actually make up rulings about cards that others just so happen to believe for some reason, post them to the Wiki, and they go unchecked for months at a time assumed to be legal rulings. What's forgotten is that Konami itself DOES NOT MAKE RULINGS (apparently they do for OCG, but I want a source on that). We, the players, make rulings. While some cards are outright broken, yes, adding rulings to benefit ourself as a single player is one of the most unnecessary things we can do. Let's not do that.

  • This section won't be updated much.
  • I find myself using the OCG names of cards more often than the TCG names if I know them, and find it equally hard to not use the OCG name.
  • I've been playing YuGiOh since its International Release in 1999.
  • I'm an aspiring Judge who looks to help players by spotting and calling out incorrect rulings and card effects.
  • I've been creating my own cards since August 2010, and have been editing, rebalancing, and placing erratas on cards ever since. I have 15 different custom archetypes at present (January 2nd, 2015), all mechanically different.
  • I don't believe that official cards should be played in decks with custom created cards.
  • I don't like NetDecking. It's cause for cookie-cutter builds and that's not at all okay. If everyone's running the same deck, it's no wonder everyone has to spend tons of money to get a new one when the deck goes wrong.
  • I don't tolerate cheating. (Creating additional effects for cards, creating rulings mid-duel, etc.)

  • "Constellar" simply because of my love and fascination with Astrology as well as Astronomy.
  • "Gem-Knight" are a favourite because they Fusion Summon, and because Geology was a childhood hobby of mine.
  • "Ghostrick" are liked because they're silly, they're spooky, and permanently turning everything "Face-down" is a viable way of playing this game.
  • "Gusto" will forever be a favourite of mine because of their shenanigans. Another reason I like them is my love of birds that extends into a personal study of Ornithology.
  • "Ice Barrier" is liked because I like ice and snow, as well as because they're a good lock-out/lockdown deck with decent stun potential.
  • "Lightsworn" are liked because I genuinely think the cards are pretty. Their "YOLO or No Go" playstyle just so happens to make for extremely funny duels.
  • "Plant Princess" is like because they're a good Aggro/Lock-out deck. Two Talaya, two Chirubimé and either Mariña or Tytannial and you're good to go. Three big beaters, plus none of them being able to be destroyed by effects or even attacked is pretty nice.
  • "Shaddoll" are a much loved deck because they are multi-type, multi-attribute, have great Stun, and are a Fusion Archetype. While being multiy-type and multi-attribute can be seen as a drawback, it actually proves useful in many situations where Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror would otherwise hinder them.
  • "Vampire" is liked because I just find them generally fun. While the Compulsory effect of Vampire Kingdom is disliked, I spend more time prioritizing Vampire Vamp than I do any other card.
  • "Volcanic" is an old favourite of mine, and I consider it a "Core Deck". My reason for liking them is exactly the same as why I consider them a core deck: Versatility. Being able to change between Battle damage and Effect damage on a whim can help them bypass defensive stall strategies that can't stop effect damage.

  • "Book of Eclipse"/"Book of Moon" are favourites because of how much I enjoy Flipping monster's face-down. These two cards are great in any deck, and are great at buying you an additional turn. (Or in my case, apparently, being one of the most annoying players to duel because I run them at 2:1 in all decks I own.)
  • "Chaos Goddess" is a huge favourite of mine for no explainable reason, aside from how beautiful she is. Despite how hard she is to put on the field, in a properly built Chaos Dragons deck, "Chaos Goddess" can be Summoned as soon as turn 2, and can build into a One Turn Kill shortly later.
  • "Daigusto Sphered" is hands down the ace of the "Gusto" deck. If you can manage to make her psuedo-invincible (which would be easier with "Yang Zing", if it weren't for her summoning conditions), you can easily whittle away at your opponent if they don't activate "Skill Drain". "Megamorph" an opponent's monster when your "Life Points" are lower and activate "Shrink" on her to maximize the damage you deal.
  • "El Shaddoll Midrash", or as I call her, "El Shaddoll Waifu", is without a doubt my personal favourite card. Like with "Chaos Goddess", it's hard to explain why I like "Midrash" so much. Aside from my liking of the "Gusto" Archetype, and "Winda, Priestess of Gusto" being the 'rider', there's no explainable reason.
  • "Fusion Substitute" is a wonderful addition to any Fusion archetype, like "Gem-Knights", "Shaddoll", and "Furnimal". The card's ability to Fusion Summon a monster, then Banish it to return a Fusion Monster from your Graveyard to your Extra Deck and drawing a card can net a huge advantage. (If advantage were actually a thing.) In "Shaddoll" decks, this card can become an important tool for clutch plays, especially if your "Cursed Shadow's Snare" is allowed to be warranted enough Spellstone Counters to use your opponent's monsters as Fusion Material Monsters, and can net more advantage than if it were used in "Furnimal" or "Gem-Knight" decks. "Cursed Shadow's Snare" actually doesn't care for what fusion card you use to summon the Fusion Monster, only that the Fusion monster you select is a "Shaddoll" Fusion Monster.
  • "Gagaga Sister" is a favourite because of her ability to let Gagaga decks Overlay into Rank 9 and 10 monsters. I only wish she was released in TCG. ~Sigh
  • "Ghostrick Dorklord" is a favourite because she's cute. Her effect is wonderful, and decks built around her have a certain level of complexity that I adore.
  • "Ghostrick Yuki-onna" is easily one of my favourite cards, because something about non-target effects mixed with being flipped permanently Face-down just sounds like a lot of fun.
  • "Pirika, Lineage of Gusto" is another favourite of mine because of how much she helps "Gusto" decks. Only being able to summon Tuner monsters, and being the perfect Level to summon any of the "Gusto" Synchro Monsters makes her an asset in "Gusto" decks, and should be run in triplicate. Which I do.
  • "Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer" is a favourite because who doesn't want to Xyz Summon a Gundam?
  • "Talaya, Princess of Cherry Blossoms" is a favourite because she's a key card in Plant Princess decks due to her effect of keeping other Plant-Type monsters on the field, especially if you have two on the field. Not to mention that she's just absolutely gorgeous.
  • "Vampire Vamp" simply put, I love this card for how cute she is. Even though she's not the apparent ace card of the deck, I run her in triplicate in my Vampire deck because of her ability to take, and subsequently overpower, stronger monsters. The only drawback is that monsters need to be progressively stronger than her exponentially growing ATK if she's going to activate her effect.
  • "Volcanic Rat" is a favourite of mine, simply because of how cute it is.
