Greetings[edit]

Thank you for visiting. This page is just getting started for now, so there isn't much to it, yet. However, I hope you will enjoy posting your commentary here. Just follow the usual rules, I guess.

Decks[edit]

This section is devoted to all kinds of different decks, anime or real life. There's not much here yet, but it will grow, trust me.

Favorites[edit]

Here is a gathering of my favorites in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh. Favorite characters, cards, decks, anime duels, what have you. Take a look, if you like.

Favorite Characters[edit]

Yugi Muto -- He's the King of Games; what more can I say?

Joey Wheeler -- Oh, shut up. I think Joey's cool, okay? He's the eternal underdog; he's right up there with Daffy Duck, Morocco Mole, and Vegeta. Plus, his accent is hilarious!

Tea Gardner -- Sure, her "friendship speeches" are annoying. But she's a hottie. I can deal.

Ishizu Ishtar -- Three simple words: gorgeous Egyptian goddess.

Zane Truesdale -- I give a lot of respect to Zane, even after he becomes the 'Hell Kaiser', as they say in the original Japanese version. He's one of the only guys who could beat that goofball, Jaden!

Dark Magician Girl -- She's just as cool and sexy as a character on the show as she is as a card: case closed. Besides, who couldn't love those pretty green eyes?

Yusei Fudo -- So far, I've seen every original episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, and I gotta tell ya: this guy is cool! He rarely talks, but when he does, he means it, boy! And his skills are super sweet, too.

Akiza Izinski -- She's tough, she's skilled, she's hot, and she kicks ass--what more could a guy ask for? I hope she wears that Duel Academy uniform more often; damn, she looks fine in that!

Kalin Kessler -- So far, best 5D's villain yet. Insane, sadistic, and equipped with a desire to kill. And he's just a lackey! I wish they hadn't screwed him over in the English dub!

Favorite Deck Types[edit]

Spellcaster Decks -- They're loaded with tricky strategies, and if played right, can beat just about anything. It's all about the proper application of cards for the job. And of course, the Dark Magician of Chaos.

Exodia Decks -- Stall until you instantly win . . . . . works for me!

Crystal Beast Decks -- An interesting deck type; instead of being destroyed normally, they fall back to the Spell/Trap zones, waiting to be used for a further purpose. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Gladiator Beast Decks -- Another peculiar set o' critters. After attacking (or being attacked), they retreat into the Deck, and tag out with another beastie. Furthermore, each one has its own special ability upon re-entry. Nice! (As a side note, how interesting would it be to see these critters go head-to-head with the Crystal Beasts?)

Blackwing decks -- These guys look cool to me! Swarming, Trampling, overall Field control; I can't wait until they come out!

Synchro Decks -- I use one myself, and it is one of the best decks I've ever built! I summon Stardust Dragon almost every time!

Favorite Duels[edit]

Double Trouble Duel - The earliest known tag team duel in the show, and not too shabby, either! Yugi and Joey are a pretty good team! Plus, they pulled off B. Skull Dragon together: definitely cool.

Best of Friends, Best of Duelists - The dynamic duo also make great rivals. They match each other move for move, using everything they've got against one another, and they're still friends through the whole thing. I know it sounds corny, but it's true! Also, "No Matter What" is a great song!

Match of the Millenium - The ultimate duel between two incredibly skilled duelists who double as Millenium Item holders--do I really need to say any more?

The Master of Magicians - Dark Magician Master vs. Dark Magician Master: a duel of epic proportions! Also the first appearance of my favorite lady!

Mime Control - The first in-game appearance of Slifer the Sky Dragon, and the intricate, complicated, infinite-loop-style combination that finished it off! That combo is one great reason why Yugi is called the 'King of Games'!

Freeze Play - I don't care what you say, I like Tèa! She's not the best duelist, but she tries, doesn't she? Besides, she's got cute legs . . .

Merger of the Big Five - Another Yugi/Joey team-up, but this time, they definitely play off of each other's decks, in the cases of Dark Flare Knight, Mirage Knight, and the mighty Dark Magician Knight!

Noah's Final Threat - Look, I know Noah was a stuck-up, spoiled little crybaby who pitched a fit (and turned jokers to stone!) whenever things didn't go his way, but this duel required all of Yugi's strength; to say nothing of Kaiba's all-star critters, the Blue-Eyes White Dragons!

Clash in the Coliseum - The duel taking up the most episodes in one sitting, not to mention my all-time favorite. Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba: mano a mano, skill versus skill, multifarious strategy against brute force in the ultimate showdown between not only Egyptian God cards, but two incredible titans in the dueling world!

Battle for the Bronze - Joey versus Kaiba--talk about an interesting match! I think Wheeler put up a good fight, despite having half his deck trashed before the end of his first turn.

The Final Face-Off - The last duel of the Battle City Tournament had to go out with a bang, didn't it? Yugi's finisher with Ragnarok was classic!

On the Wrong Track - Yugi and Joey face off against their old rivals from Duelist Kingdom: Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor! But this time, their decks are stepped up, and are backed by a chillingly familiar card . . .

Grappling with a Guardian - This time around, Yugi was able to kick some Guardian butt, and with a little help from a friend, too.

A Duel with Dartz - Tied with Clash in the Coliseum for a single duel taking up the most episodes at once. Yugi and Kaiba facing off against the wicked ruler of Atlantis, with the fate of the world at stake (as usual).

A Brawl in a Small Town - Oh, come on; you know as well as I do that the real duel in this one is the match between Yugi and Vivian! Dark Paladin really spanked her!
