Yuya Sakaki (榊（さかき）　遊（ゆう）矢（や）, Sakaki Yūya), is a character in the Tag Force games. This is a video game version of the anime character, Yuya Sakaki.

Profile

舞網（まいあみ）第二（だいに）中学（ちゅうがく）に通（かよ）う少年（しょうねん）。
中学（ちゅうがく）２年生（ねんせい）、１４歳（さい）。
今（いま）までその存在（そんざい）が知（し）られていなかった新（あら）たな召喚（しょうかん）法（ほう）、「ペンデュラム召喚（しょうかん）」の使（つか）い手（て）。
父親（ちちおや）の後輩（こうはい）、柊修造（ひいらぎしゅうぞう）が経営（けいえい）するデュエル塾（じゅく）『遊勝塾（ゆうしょうじゅく）』に通（かよ）っている。

父（ちち）の遊勝（ゆうしょう）はアクションデュエルにエンターテインメント性（せい）を取（と）り込（こ）み、現在（げんざい）の隆盛（りゅうせい）を築（きず）いたプロデュエリスト界（かい）のスターだったが、重要（じゅうよう）なデュエルの直前（ちょくぜん）に失踪（しっそう）してしまった。
人々（ひとびと）は彼（かれ）がデュエルから逃（に）げたと噂（うわさ）し、幼（おさな）い遊矢（ゆうや）は心（こころ）ない言葉（ことば）を浴（あ）びせられるなどして、心（こころ）に大（おお）きな傷（きず）を負（お）った。

そうした理由（りゆう）から精神的（せいしんてき）に脆（もろ）い面（めん）もあったが、仲間（なかま）たちの励（はげ）ましやペンデュラム召喚（しょうかん）が心（こころ）の支（ささ）えとなり、遊（ゆう）矢（や）自身（じしん）も、デュエルの腕（うで）も徐々（じょじょ）に成長（せいちょう）している。
今（いま）は、父（ちち）のように人々（ひとびと）を楽（たの）しませるプロの「エンターテインメント・デュエリスト」になることを目指（めざ）しているため、ピエロの衣装（いしょう）や、「お楽（たの）しみはこれからだ！」という決（き）めゼリフが、遊（ゆう）矢（や）のデュエルの特徴（とくちょう）と言（い）える。

また、ペンデュラム召喚（しょうかん）が自分（じぶん）一人（ひとり）だけのものではないと気（き）づいた現在（げんざい）は、ペンデュラムの「その先（さき）」を見（み）つけることも重要（じゅうよう）な目標（もくひょう）である。

「EM（エンタメイト）」と名（な）の付（つ）くカードを中心（ちゅうしん）にしたデッキを使（つか）う。
エースモンスターは「オッドアイズ・ペンデュラム・ドラゴン」。

A second year student who is 14 years old.
A user of Pendulum Summons, a brand new summoning method whose existence was unknown until recently.
He attends the You Show duel school run by Shuzo Hiragi, one of his father's juniors.

His father Yusho was a star in the world of professional dueling, bringing entertainment to Action Duels and building up their current popularity, but he disappeared right before an important duel.
It was rumored he had ran away from the duel, and people mocked the young Yuya endlessly for it, causing him great emotional damage.

This left him with a rather sensitive psyche, but the support of his friends and his access to Pendulum Summon have helped him emotionally, and he is now making gradual improvements concerning both his dueling skills and his own well-being.
Nowadays, his goal is to become a professional Entertainment Duelist who entertains people like his father did, and Yuya doing things such as dueling in a clown costume and saying the phrase "The fun begins now!" could be said to characterize his dueling.

Now that he has realized Pendulum Summoning is not going to be exclusive to him, another of his important goals for the future will be to discover what lies "beyond" Pendulum.

His ace monster is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
