This monster's name is a portmanteau of the demon Balam and the French sauce Meunière sauce (a brown butter sauce traditionally containing lemon and parsley).
"Balam" is described as having three heads - those of a man, bull, and ram (represented by this monster's horns and facial structure) - as well as a serpent's tail (which can be faintly seen behind this monster), whilst riding upon a bear and carrying a hawk upon his fist (both of which are represented as flaming spirits around this monster). He is also said to bear quick wit and mental versatility, as well as provide others with invisibility (represented in this monster's effect to target an opponent's Attack Position monster to Tribute and Special Summon a Level 6 "Nouvelles" Ritual Monster, especially given it being a conditional Quick Effect if this monster was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Nouvelles" monster).
