WelcomeEdit

Hi and welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki! Thank you for your edit to the Attack and effect names in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V page.

If you need help, you can consult these pages:

FormattingEdit

Your formatting ending up removing essential "box outlines" that help determine which English effect/attack names are grouped together, and which JP effect/attack names they correspond to. Plus, even though there are a lot of parameters in the page, they help ensure that editors know what box they're editing exactly. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:36, May 12, 2017 (UTC)

I don't see how the previous formatting prevented the addition of the attack name of "Maximum Six". The reason it didn't appear was because the parameter was misnamed "|en_name =" instead of "|en_names =". And I especially don't see how the previous formatting somehow prevented you from removing the movie attack/effect names. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:38, May 12, 2017 (UTC)
"Visual Editor" is a method of editing only intended for beginners. To edit more effectively, do the following: (1) Go to your user profile in the top-right corner of any page and select 'Preferences'. (2) Click on the "Editing" tab. (3) Under the "Editing Experience" header, select "Source editor", then scroll down to the bottom and "Save" changes.
With this in mind, I'll revert the changes to that 1 page one more time, since you'll be able to edit it more easily. If you have any questions about the editing details, you can simply examine the rest of the page and figure things out for yourself (or look at a different page, by clicking 'edit', and then compare details). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:11, May 13, 2017 (UTC)

Hi, have facebook? Gabriel Yuki (talkcontribs) 03:53, May 13, 2017 (UTC)

Repeating myself again, as I already stated this for the YGO ZEXAL page: When it comes to English names, we use the English names that the official English-dubbed anime (or the official English-translated manga) use. As you can see from several images (example 1, example 2, example 3, etc.), we do not use the names that the TCG uses for the irl Monster Cards, since that's not how they appeared in the manga/anime. So I'll be reverting some of your changes. Remember: The anime card names are used for the anime cards, and the TCG card names are used for the TCG cards. And since these are the "attack and effect names" for the anime/manga we're talking about... you should get my point.
(The reason we've named the "Number" monsters "No." is because although the English manga has been inconsistent when it comes to using "Number" or "No.", it has used "No." more often in the card names.) --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:13, May 14, 2017 (UTC)

Yami Yugi Duel LinksEdit

You've been reverting SnorlaxMonster's edits on the Yami Yugi (Duel Links) page even though he gave valid reasons on leaving it the way it was. Please explain yourself. ChaosGallade (talkcontribs) 01:13, January 12, 2018 (UTC)

I noticed how the Slifer the Sky Dragon was very incomplete and how it was missing Obelisk the Tormentor as well. If it's that big of a deal that it's unofficial, then why doesn't he add, in parentheses, that the lines are not official next to the edits, and then when it's become official, it's edited? RaidingRaptor (talkcontribs) 03:20, January 13, 2018 (UTC)
We don't allow speculation. Why we would add "unofficial" info to a wiki that posts "official" info? By that argument, anyone could post whatever they wanted and claim it's considered "unofficial". There's nothing wrong with waiting until Obelisk can be played by legal means, without using data-mining. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 00:15, January 14, 2018 (UTC)
Fair enough, I suppose, but Slifer's still incomplete as it lacks the summoning quote. Without that, it can hardly be considered worth looking at without editing. RaidingRaptor (talkcontribs) 18:04, January 14, 2018 (UTC)
