Darkness Gimmick |
Darkness Gimmick is a Main BOX in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It was first released in-game on April 30, 2021.
Description[edit]
The puppet that controls the strings of fate!
Raise the curtain of darkness!
Recommended Cards
Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder
Quattro's ace Xyz Monster!
This monster has an effect to destroy 1 Special Summoned monster controlled by your opponent, and if it's an Xyz Monster, you can also inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the original ATK of the destroyed monster!
As this effect can be used twice per turn, you can "entertain" your opponent by dealing massive damage to them while wiping out their monsters!
Starliege Paladynamo
An Xyz Monster used by Kite in the anime!
Once per turn, you can change the ATK of 1 face-up monster on your opponent's field to 0 as well as negate its effect!
In addition, if your opponent destroys this card and it's sent to the Graveyard, you can draw 1 card!
Smashing Ground
A Spell Card that destroys 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that has the highest DEF!
Monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck tend to have high DEF, so there is a high chance you'll be able to take out your opponent's powerful monster with this single card!
Vampire Awakening
A must-have Trap Card for "Vampire" Decks that can Special Summon 1 "Vampire" monster from your Deck.
As the monster Special Summoned with this effect will be destroyed at the end of the turn, use it to Xyz Summon a monster during your turn or Special Summon a "Vampire" monster that can use Graveyard effects during your opponent turn.
A total of 90 types of Cards: 9 UR, 11 SR, 28 R, and 42 N.
Each box of Darkness Gimmick contains 180 packs. Each pack contains 3 different cards: 2 of them are individually guaranteed to be Normal (aka Common) or Rare, while the third card is guaranteed to be Rare, Super Rare, or Ultra Rare. There is a guaranteed number of copies of each individual card per box, depending on its rarity:
- Ultra Rare: 1 copy
- Super Rare: 2 copies
- Rare: 6 copies
- Normal (aka Common): 8 copies
- The exceptions to this are the following Normal cards, with there being 9 copies of each instead: "Vampire's Domain", "Final Inzektion", "Inzektor Crossbow - Zektarrow", "Miracle Dig", and "Inzektor Gauntlet".
