Forum:Yami Bakura Deck

Is this a good (competitive) Yami Bakura deck? If not, how could I improve it without ruining it as a character deck?

• If it won't ruin your theme, I would add a Scrap-Iron Scarecrow (this will result in a total attack Lockdown for your opponent in combination with the Dark Door) and a Spiritualism (this can come in VERY handy, because it can't be negated and it fits the theme) Vyrath (talk • contribs) 17:10, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

I think placing The Dark Door in along with Scrap-Iron Scarecrow is good for a lockdown but your win condition is for the most part Destiny Board, so it's best to focus on that. Perhaps if you can lay down the bones you can try this deck list out.

This should foster better results. It's not exactly Bakura's deck but it still does carry the theme and it gives you more answers and defense while you are trying to get the pieces of the Destiny Board out. When building a character deck think of it this way: The characters are avid players of the game and I'm certain if they had more powerful opponents they would begin to follow the trends of the time. Had Synchro monsters existed in their time they definitely use them and they would definitely change up their strategies instead of using the same old cards.
