Problem with moving multiple images in one edit and one question about status for "other" card galleries

Even with the restored mover rights, I can't figure out how to move multiple images at once in one edit (the Special:Move can only move one image at a time). Also not all card galleries (to my knowledge) would be able to use the revised gallery settings due to some images being from a different gallery (such as the anime gallery from Card Gallery:Butterfly Dagger - Elma, which has this image from Card Gallery:Backup Gardna). Some card galleries such as the one for "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" may also contain images from a different language (which would also not fit with the revised gallery settings) as the Japanese card gallery of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" has an image from North America.

How far are you with getting the "Other" galleries to be in line with the revised galleries for cards, anime, manga, and video games since October?. Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 01:59, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Another problem is the video game card galleries, particularly with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories card images. For Japan, they are listed as DM3 images while for other languages, it is DDS images. This creates some kind of error as when I try to use the revised gallery settings for some Japanese galleries, the DM3 images can't be shown as the setting redirects DM3 to DDS for the image name, which forces me to use the old setting for some of these galleries (such as Card Gallery:Blackland Fire Dragon). This error should be fixed as soon as possible.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 02:41, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
Images from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters III: Tri-Holy God Advent gallery can't be up in card galleries with the converted setting. For example, this image can't be put up in with the converted gallery setting because when I tried to do this, the image's name ended up becoming "BlackIllusionRitual-DDS-JP-VG.png". I am also unsure if I should rename the card images that come from Sacred Cards and Reshef of Destruction since some cards like "Acid Rain" have different names in those video games.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 18:43, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
It works, however there are some video game images that I am unsure if I should rename and/or I don't know what to name them. Examples include File:StainStorm-TSC-EN-VG.png and File:Ico yamiku.png though for the latter I had the idea for naming it "CastleofDarkIllusions-POC-EN-VG-Icon.png" or something like that.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 01:51, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
The video game images I mentioned in my last message along with many others will not fit with the converted gallery setting since they are named differently, so I don't know how to put them in with the converted gallery setting.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 02:21, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Also images that are in more than one set will be hard to put in with the converted gallery setting such as AllureofDarkness-EV10-KR-ScR-UE which is part of Winter Festival 2009 promotional cards and Spring Battle 2010 promotional cards.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 05:17, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Done. I had the thought of something similar to the "//extension::" be used in the converted gallery for card gallery images that don't have the same name as the real card in which case we use the image's name instead of the standard way most images in the card gallery would be named. Of course this is only a possibility.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 21:43, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

suggestion on using the file name and caption extension for real card, anime, manga, and videogame images that can't have their names changed

Would using the caption extension along with the file name for real card, anime, manga, and videogame images that can't have their names changed is a good idea as this way they can be put into the converted gallery setting? After seeing it being done for the other Galleries, I thought we should try doing this for images that have a name that can't changed for one reason or another.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 19:37, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

More Card gallery

In the most recent edit on Card Gallery:Dark Magician Girl, XBrain130 used <!-- MagicFormula-JP-Anime-DM-NC.png --> in order to convert the Japanese anime gallery. He also used <!-- --> for DarkMagicianGirl-DM7-JP-VG.png, DarkMagicianGirl-EX2006-JP-VG.png, DarkMagicianGirl-DM7-JP-VG.png in order to put them in the converted gallery setting. Would this even be allowed or acceptable until something could be done for such images in the future?Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 16:07, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

Well, this won't solve anything. I'll issue a quick fix, for cases like MagicFormula-JP-Anime-DM-NC.png.
As for the others, they seem to be generating the correct name, so the files would have to be moved. Except some cases, where it seems he switched the files, but I'll check with him. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:04, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
Ok, I've added a solution for those cases. And I've checked with XBrain and he just messed the other files up. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:22, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
For, the English video game gallery of "Five-Headed Dragon", XBrain130 excluded this image by converting the gallery and putting TSC in the converted gallery. He also got rid of the North American card gallery of "Gem-Knight Lazuli" and placed this image in the Worldwide English gallery despite that cards released in Duel Terminal are North American exclusive. Should these edits be changed or left alone?
On a different note, I can't put the converted gallery setting for the worldwide English card gallery of "Gaia the Dragon Champion" because of a misprint image that doesn't have 1st or unlimited in its name. I also can't put this setting for the German card gallery of "Diffusion Wave-Motion" because of a sample image. What should I do?Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 19:40, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
The new feature you added last time was put in for anime and manga galleries but not for video game galleries (Module:Card gallery/File/VG), so I can't re-add in this image into the converted gallery setting yet until that's done.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 18:55, 5 June 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the new feature. It mostly works, but it would not work for all video game images since not all of them follow the same naming pattern after the file name. Examples include File:AncientGearBeast-WC07.jpg, File:InsectQueen-DAR.png, and File:Ico_yamiku.png to name a few. what is used for the japanese other galleries and OW images from twitter could be used for such images as while these don't follow the same pattern for other video game card images we can't remove them in order to put them into the converted gallery setting.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 18:22, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for helping with the videogame galleries. The manga and some anime galleries for the card galleries have a few problems. Some of them like File:DoomcaliberKnight-JP-Manga-MW.jpg have MW (short for Millennium World) in their name and they can't be put in the converted gallery because MW doesn't exist for manga. I don't know want to do that. The Card Gallery of "Gaia the Fierce Knight" has two images that can't be put into the converted gallery setting since Toei and Lab (short for Labyrinth Battle game) are not part of the anime and manga converted gallery setting. The biggest challenge for the converted gallery would be the Japanese card gallery for "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" considering we don't have something currently that could allow us to put this image into the Japanese card gallery of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" after we convert it.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 22:52, 13 June 2019 (UTC)
