Huh..thank you for the advice[edit]

I do have pretty much all the monsters you listed and magic cards, however despite the name of the deck(the name is only because I couldn't think of anything better), I don't really want a straight up generic dragon deck. I've always believe that my monster build is pretty good aside from maybe dropping Des Feral Imp and Masked of Darkness or replacing Witch of the Black Rose for another Mist Valley Soldier. I feel like you have a pretty low opinion of my deck build, so could you please duel me, when you're free of course, just so you could see how the deck actually works? Then maybe you could understand why I put it together.

Armed Samurai Deck[edit]

The reason why I left out United we Stand is because it is expensive, far more expensive than Axe of Despair. Same goes for Sakuretsu Armor vs. Dimensional Prison. I had a limit of $100 and I was already up to 95 with what I had. I had to substitute cards that I would have liked to use for more common cards that were cheaper. Well when I was looking at different prices for cards, I made two estimates, one which was made of the absolite worst prices I could find for any card, (that's what added up to the $95), and one using the lowest possible prices I could find, this one added up to about $50 dollars. I always go off of the worst case scenario since I never know what can happen. It's quite possible that I could have swapped them, but I played it safe. Hey, my little cousin is just getting into Yu-Gi-Oh!, and his dad bought him the two Machine Structures Decks, Machine Re-Volt and Machina Mayhem. I suggested for him to make a Machine Gadget deck. There's one problem though; I don't have the most updated knowledge as to what's in such a deck. I know the monsters are Fortress, the Gadgets, Cyber Dragon, Machinas Peacekeeper and Gearframe (as essentials), but I don't even know how many or each card is ran in there, like, I don't know whether to put in 1 of each Gadget or 3 or each Gadget. Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to be in the next YVD tournament in about a month, as the first one is coming to an end. Me, Fallensilence, and possibly Falzar FZ (I need permission from Fallensilence) are going to be in charge of it. Nottomention IT'S GONNA BE HUUUUUUGE since I am in charge of recruiting. And by the way, sorry about the fact that every time you're ready for a duel I'm wondering around my house, and somehow I get on a couple of minutes after you get off.

and by the way, in the case of Destiny Hero - Plasma, can i sacrifice tokens from Scapegoat instead since it says that the sheep tokens can't be used for TRIBUTE SUMMON OR SET, and nothing about SPECIAL SUMMON.

Hey it's me again. I met another duelist today and he's another spellcaster user (god why must there be so many spellcaster users around) and the 3 copies of Secret Village of the Spellcasters made no difference at all against him and sometimes i got jammed in return by the secret village. i doubted it when he says he too can activate spell cards when he has spellcasters but i played along and after that i use the exact same deck in my yugioh 2010 world championship game and picked a spellcaster opponent and yeah spell cards can be activated whenever he has spellcasters on his field. Is there any other way left to lock spell cards down? And i thought i've finally completed a deck that would be able to seal off monster effect, trap and spell no matter what opponent i'm against. Can Destiny Heros become great on there own?[edit]

hello its me again. i was always wondering in my mind that, can Destiny Heros become great on there own? i've seen and read about a ton of decks that have only a small fraction of D-H (Destiny Heros for short) mixing with other decks. i always thought D-H were cool looking and were anti-heros. i know there rival E-H (elemental Heros for short) are there own deck. so is it possible for D-H to become there own deck with no outside from other deck types? and if it is possible, i would be ever so grateful if you have enough time to try and build it. thats sounds like a great idea. but i can never run it. what got my attention was these new beast cards that came out. the only deck i can seem to build with no problem was an ojama deck that blcok the monster spaces. right now i still have it and improving it. i was thinking though, can i make a beast deck thats fun and easy to play with. i have some of the new cards and im hunting all of the beasts cards but its hard. if you can give me a head start with a suppling the deck list, i'll be twice as easy. so my only friend here, will you please help me in this beast deck? So my monster spawning rate can't keep up with all the top tiers. Infernity Zombies???[edit]

Hi, Aki. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to combine Infernities with Zombies. The general idea would be to mill with Dark Grepher, and use Zombie World in conjuction with cards like Zombie Master and Il Blud to revive the Infernities, along with the regular reviving effects of Infernities(Mirage, Launcher) since Launcher was limited. Ex: Il Blud with Zombie World on the field with Infernity Beetle in the grave. Special summon beetle and synchro into Doom Dragon. One for one for Mirage and sp. summon 2 Infernities. Sound any good? Infernity Zombies do work, although i'd have to turn down the request, if that's what your asking. I'm extremely busy with studies starting up again, plus my work on the Decks for Free! forum page. No, that's ok. The biggest problem with a deck like this is that you can't summon Hundred-Eyes Dragon. Also, would it be possible to run Shooting Star and Scar-Red Nova in a deck like this? RE:Toon Terrors[edit]

Hey Akiza. I love the deck you've made for me! again!! but I've just realised that the usage of tokens can be greatly abused for summoning toons/sacrificing for toon cannon soldier. Hmm I still haven't ordered the deck....would it be possible to revamp the deck to COMPLETELY focus on toon cannon soldier and its ability?

Hmm yeah i did think of that but i thought if there were more cards that would summon tokens or something (e.g. Scapegoat and Dandylion) then it would be easy to pull off.....but if you don't think its a viable option then i guess I'll just play it as is

A straight-up Infernity, or an Infernity/Zombie build will most likely get you the best Synchro results. I would really stay away from SSD/SRND/Polar Gods, though. You'd have to do some overextending just to get them on the field, and they're still not %100 protected from the effects you're likely to face off against.

Me, Again. Flamesworns?[edit]

Well...what about a Flamvell/Lightsworn Deck for SSD/SRND? I'd have to mill my deck like crazy to do it quickly, then play Rekindling to summon for SSD:Flamvell Baby, Flamvell Poun, Flamvell Firedog, and Flamvell Magician. Tune Firedog & Magician for Stardust, then Baby and Poun for Formula, then synchro SSD. For SRND: I would summon Flamvell Baby, Flamvell Archer, Flamvell Firedog, and Flamvell Magician. Milling different monsters just to play a specific Spell card is still horribly inconsistent. If you're completely determined on a build that can bring out SSD/SRND, then I recommend checking out the Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth (character) deck on my User Page. It can generally bring out one of the two Dragons on the first couple of turns, and maintain safe card advantage.

Uh...that's why I would obviously use cards like Card Destruction (which I use in most of my decks) and Magical Mallet (same). And anyway, I stated that I could always run regular synchros, but SSD and SRND would still be the main attraction. Hmm, too bad there isn't any Armageddon Knight or Dark Grepher for Fire. And also, the only cards I know that can mill myself are Needlebug Nest, Card Trooper, and Lightsworn cards. [Slap in the face] Why hadn't I seen it before? Brain Research Lab FLOODS the field for easy synchros...I might have been able to test this out on YVD, but I have NO idea how to use it. On the first turn, I just kept clicking the deck and kept drawing, which made no sense to me. Also, if I summon Armageddon Knight, how do I send a card to the Graveyard? YVD makes no sense to me whatsoever. And...

I came up with this a while ago. I'm not sure if it will run smoothly AT ALL, because I'll be left with hardly any hand advantage. Less LV 1? LV 1's are what brings out Formula. Once I bring it out, I can special summon Synchro Magnetor to tune with a level 5 for Stardust. Anyway, both the cards that mill you listed are limited. Anyway, isn't Telekinetic Power Well almost the same as playing Rekindling (if only there was a Mind Master/Armageddon Knight/Dark Grepher for Fire :'( )? In the SRND version of the deck I posted, I would put in Create Resonator and probably take out Battle Fader for another Fiend Level 1 Tuner. Cyber Valley will probably stay because Cyber Valley is just awesome like that. And what about feedback about the deck? One major problem...with the way as I see this deck, when I begin my turn, I need a monster on the field, or One for One (which is limited) in my hand. Cyber Dragon won't exactly help me, because I would need a tribute. And what other cards do you recommend then besides Mist Archfiend (which is a normal, not special, summon)? How is Instant Fusion inconsistent?And also, what do you think of a deck that combines the Majestics with the Cosmic Synchros (Shooting Star with Majestic Star, Scar-Red with Majestic Red), seeing as to how many LV 1's are associated with them (LV1 non-tuner for Formula, another LV1 for Majestic Star or Majestic Red). Ok, heres the combo: When I begin my turn, I must have a level one on my field OR One for One. At that point, I play The Tricky/Instant Fusion to bring out a level 5. Then, I NORMAL SUMMON a level 1, and synchro into Formula Synchron. Then, I special summon Synchro Magnetor from my hand. Tune that with the level 5 for Stardust, then Formula+Stardust=Shooting Star. The same goes for Scar-Red: When I begin my turn, I must have a level 1 Tuner, via Stygian Security. Then, activate Instant Fusion/play the Tricky. Then, normal summon a level 3 tuner, and summon Red Dragon Archfiend. Then, special summon synchro magnet, and double tune for Scar-Red. THAT'S why I can't exactly use Cyber Dragon; I need a level 1 on the field to begin with. Now, if One for One weren't limited, of course I'd use three. The only problem with this combo is that it is a) inconsistent (possibly) and b) I lose hand advantage very easily. I've been thinking...this is probably a crazy idea, and it might not work, but what if you were to use a Dandylion Turbo in conjunction with Shooting Star or the Majestics, or even both? The main idea would be to have at least one level 1 non-tuner, then summon Debris Dragon to revive Dandylion, and tune all 3 for Stardust, then with a level 1 tuner with the level 1 fluff token, summon Formula, then synchro into Shooting Star OR instead of the general level 1, Majestic Dragon for one of the Majestics. When you said it depends on alternate targets for Stygian Security, were you were referring to Turbo Booster? Because Stygian Security may not be destroyed in battle, and I may not have a fluff token handy. I suppose I could use one Quickdraw for one Drill Warrior and Junk Archer, and take out a few Caiuses...for other stuff I can't think of right now. Yeah...but Stygian Security may not always be destroyed IN BATTLE. That's the problem. Or, it may not be destroyed at all. And if I still don't have a fluff token (or 2), then I can't summon Stardust. Well, then again, this deck COULD have alternate strategies, like a regular Yusei Plant deck. I still think I would need at least 1 Turbo Booster or another lv 1 monster that special summons itself easily, or can't be destroyed in battle if I were to completely revolve around Shooting Star. And were Cosmic Synchros supposed to COUNTER Machine Emperors? Because none of the OCG Cosmic Synchros can negate, counter, or avoid the equipping effect of the Machine Emperors. You can only remove them from play when your opponent declares an attack. So, they could just equip to Wisel, and be you'd be dead meat. Now, if it said: "Once, during either your or your opponent's turns, you can remove this card from play, during the Main Phase or Battle Phase. If you do, you can negate the attack of 1 monster your opponent controls. If this card is removed from play this way, special summon it during the end phase." Now, if it said something along the lines of THAT, THEN it could counter the Machine Emperors, and avoid cards like Dimensional Prison, which would be EXTREMELY helpful.99.141.37.228 (talk) 20:52, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

Wait...what do you think of this combo for summoning Scar-Red Nova: I normal summon Dragunity Dux. I use its effect to equip Dragunity Phalanx from my graveyard. I use Phalanx's effect to special summon itself. At that point, I play Inferno Reckless Summon, summoning two more Phalanxes. I tune one Phalanx and one Dux for Dragunity Knight - Vajuranda. Vajuranda's effect lets me equip Phalanx from my graveyard. I special summon Phalanx and tune it (out of 3 Phalanxes) for Red Dragon Archfiend. Then I tune the other 2 Phalanxes for Scar-Red Nova Dragon (I think Red Nova Dragon by itself is a stupid name). Oh, and if I don't have Inferno Reckless Summon, I could probably use something like Dragunity Knight - Barcha (summoned with Dragunity Arms Misteil) for multiple Phalanxes. Ooops. And what would you think of a Dragunity Deck that 'includes' Scar-Red as an alternate strategy, rather than 'focuses on' Scar-Red? In other words, one or two Inferno Reckless Summons rather than 3, to utilize their DEADLY combos AND have the ability to bring out one of the strongest monsters in the game. That was pretty much a rough draft of what I had in mind. If I can't summon Dragunity Dux, I could summon Misteil instead, and with its equipping effect, equip Phalanx, special summon it, and summon Barcha for instant chaos: Brandistock, Corseca, 2 or 3 Aklys, and maybe one Phalanx. With this deck type, I was focusing more on Scar-Red, while still abusing the Dragunity combos. Eh...crap. I copied the Synchro Evolution Decklist, and I forgot to delete Ultimate Offering and Morphing Jar and include Sangan. I include Sangan in nearly ALL my decks. And this WAS supposed to be a deck that revolved around getting out Scar-Red Nova. I prefer 1 Bottomless and 1 Smashing Ground. I'll probably take out one Inferno Reckless Summon. Putting in Zephyros would include more Synchro options, I know. That would be like copying off of Runer5h. But if I include Zephyros, I might as well be combining Dragunitys with Blackwings (which I don't think would be a very bad idea. What do you think of a Dragunity Blackwing hybrid?). Also, I include Hand Destruction for speed, but I guess it could go with its already insane draw power. But why, D.D. I could probably take your suggestions for a deck that revolves less around Scar-Red (OMG that card is AWESOME). I actually prefer not to use D.D. Crow, and I still don't get the point of Trap Dustshoot and why it's limited. And is it not necessarily bad in that you didn't come up with it yourself and just use it for your own benefit (come to think of it, a lot of archetype decks are very similar to each other. But Zephyros is bound to be limited with its effect)? And more Terraforming can increase my chances of dead drawing, yes, but if I DO dead draw it, I can search out another Dragon Canyon and thin my deck. It also helps to grab Canyon faster. Obviously, you'd take out the Meisters for a level one Fish type, and put in a couple of Majestic Dragons. Yeah, I know this deck is inconsistent. The main point is to summon Shooting Star/Scar-Red Nova, although I might turn it into a straight-up Scar-Red because I have no place to put Pot of Avarice to refill my deck with tuners for Shooting Star's multi-attack effect. Also, I could Trish my opponent, Scrap them, Wurm them, and other fast synchros. My last main strategy is JD nuking (I love that word, it sounds so cool). I want a place for a Gragonith, however. Which card should I replace it with?
