OCG Rulings
- Special Summoning this card from the hand is an Ignition Effect that activates in the hand.[1]
- Discarding 4 "Mermail" monsters from the hand to the Graveyard is a cost to activate the effect that Special Summons this card from the hand.[1]
- The effect that destroys cards the opponent controls up to the number of "Mermail" monsters in your Graveyard targets.[1]
- The "At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Defense Position monster: Destroy that monster." is only applied during the turn in which the "You can Tribute 1 other face-up Attack Position "Mermail" monster" effect is activated by Tributing 1 "Mermail" monster as a cost.[1]
