• This card can be searched by "Hiita the Fire Channeler", "Hazy Flame Cerbereus", "Infernal Flame Banshee", another copy of "Hazy Flame Peryton", and other generic searchers.

• "Hazy Flame Hydra" and "Hazy Flame Sphynx" are the most ideal monsters for Summoning with this card's effect, since their effects can help accumulate more Xyz Material.
  • There is one exception to this rule: If your opponent controls a monster, you have Inferno Reckless Summon in your hand, and have a card that you can use to destroy one of your monsters (not more than one, like Dark Hole), special summon a Hazy Flame Cerbereus, with the effect of Hazy Flame Peryton, then destroy it with another card to search for Hazy Flame Griffin. Special Summon Hazy Flame Griffin, then activate Inferno Reckless Summon to Special Summon 2 more copies of it to the field. If you already have 3 or more other monsters in your main monster zones, you may need to Xyz summon with two of the monster you already control in order to make room for all 3 copies of Hazy Flame Griffin

• "Hazy Glory" can help recoup the cost for this card's effect by either recovering the discarded monster or this Tributed card.

• Even though this card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a "Hazy Flame" monster, it can always be Normal Summoned with the aid of the effects of "Hazy Pillar" and "Hazy Glory".

• "Volcanic Shell" can be useful for meeting the cost for this card's effect, since that monster can replace itself with its effect.
