Birdfolk (鳥（ちょう）人（じん） Chōjin) is a Type in Duel Monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. It was not included in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game or any of the video games.

Birdfolk was mentioned in an explanation of the different fields on the Duelist Kingdom island. It was one of the Types that benefited from the Mountain field.

Based only on their name, they would perhaps have been monsters depicting anthropomorphic avian humanoids. One group of monsters fitting this description does feature prominently in the Duelist Kingdom arc, namely Mai Valentine's "Harpie" monsters.

No cards with a "Birdfolk" Type appear in the OCG/TCG. "Harpie" monsters and similar cards are instead released with the Winged Beast Type.
