Battle City

• In episode 65, this card appears in Strings' hand during his Duel against Yami Yugi. In the next episode, Strings activates this card to draw two cards. This increases "Slifer the Sky Dragon"'s ATK/DEF by 2000 to 3000.

• In episode 68, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Rare Hunter 2 and Rare Hunter 3.

• In episode 72, Lumis uses this card during his Tag Duel with Umbra against Yugi and Kaiba.

• In episode 85, this card can be seen when Yugi is rebuilding his Deck.

• In episode 90, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. The two cards he drew were "Jam Defender" and "Remove Trap".

• In episode 96, this card is shown in Yami Marik's hand during his duel against Yami Bakura. In the next episode, this card is still shown to be in Yami Marik's hand.

Virtual World

• In episode 102, this card can be seen in Téa Gardner's hand during her Duel against Crump. She banishes this card and "Petit Angel" from her hand in order to activate the Flip Effect of "Fire Sorcerer".

• In episode 105, Johnson and Joey Wheeler both use this card during their Duel against each other. Johnson activates this card to draw two cards. Joey then activates "Gamble" to toss a coin. Joey calls heads, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to tails. This meant Joey had to skip his next turn. Later Joey activates his own copy of this card to draw "Burning Soul Sword" and "Arduous Decision".

• In episode 108, this card is seen in Kaiba's hand during his Duel against Leichter and activates it the next episode.
  • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Leichter has when he explains to Seto that his treachery began when Gozaburo gave him a large amount of dollars to test Seto's business skills.

• In episode 112, Leichter uses this card during the Big Five's Duel against Yami Yugi and Joey. Since Leichter activated a Magic Card, Yugi's "Des Volstgalph" gains 200 ATK until the End Phase.

• In episode 115, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba.

• In episode 116, this card appears in a flashback Seto has when he notes that he remembers that he promised to be a father to Mokuba and protect him no matter what. Although Seto initially threw Mokuba out, Seto did so so that no matter what happened to him, Mokuba would still have a family.

• In episode 121, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Gozaburo Kaiba.

Battle City Finals

• In episode 122, this card is shown in Kaiba's hand during the Battle Royale between himself, Yami Yugi, Joey, and Yami Marik.

• In episode 130, Yami Yugi sets this card during his Duel against Kaiba. In the next episode, Yami Yugi activates this card to draw two cards. This increases Yugi's "Slifer the Sky Dragon's" ATK/DEF by 2000 to 5000.

• In episode 154, it's revealed that before Maximillion Pegasus had his soul stolen by Mai, he leaves a special card to help Yugi defeat Dartz in a secret room inside a life-sized Pot of Greed.

• In episode 157, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael.

• In episode 159, this card can be seen when Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor are taken to vault within Doma's headquarters that contains copies of every card in existence at the time, save the Legendary Dragons and the Egyptian Gods.

• In episode 162, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor.

• In episode 167, Kaiba uses during his Duel against Alister.

• In episode 176, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael.

• In episode 188, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. He uses this card to draw "Giant Trunade" and "Premature Burial".

• In episode 190, Zigfried von Schroeder uses this card during his Duel against Joey. He uses this card to draw "Valkyrie Zwei" and "Erda's Guidance".

• In episode 193, Rebecca Hawkins uses this card during her Duel against Leon von Schroeder. Later Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Vivian Wong. Because Yami Yugi activated a Spell Card, his "Skilled Dark Magician" gains a Spell Counter.

• In episode 194, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried. In the next episode, Zigfried activates his own copy.

• In episode 197, Yami Yugi uses this card in his duel against Leon von Schroeder. Since Yami Yugi drew "Watapon", he Special Summons it to the field via its own effect. Later, Leon activates his own copy.

Dawn of the Duel

• In episode 200, Yami Bakura uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba.
  • This card also appears within Yami Yugi's mind when Yami Bakura claims to him that his mind is an unsolvable maze and that he pursues games like riddles.
  • This card also appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.

• In episode 216, Yami Bakura uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto. Later this card became a Phantom after Yami Bakura gained the black box from the effect of "Cursed Twin Dolls". In the following episode, this card is still shown to be a Phantom.
