What do you think about the new Polar Gods? So far I only like Thor because both Loki's and Odin's effects just aren't really useful in my opinion.

thors good but odins freakin broken he cant be targeted by spells and traps so good bye sakuretsu,magic cylinder,book of moon ect. even if hes destroyed by mirror force,torrential tribute, or lightning vortex he comes back AND he lets u draw again i dout there gonna make the polar gods into real cards if they were then awsome id love to run them but thor and odin look pretty broken (loki is eh in my oppinion)Raiga (talk • contribs) 17:15, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

To be honest, they've disappointed me. They do have really good effects, but I think they let down the name of Divine Beasts. Except for The Winged Dragon of Ra. That let down itself. Polar God Emperor Odin can still be effected by monster effects, so D.D. Warrior Lady will solve that problem, Polar God Thor's awesome, but once he's out on the field, a good play in one turn could get rid of him, and I can't find a way to deal with Polar God Loki as his effect isn't finalised. Don't forget, that Odin's prevention effect is a watered down version of Obelisk the Tormentor, so I think they don't deserve the Divine title. Kwame120 (talk • contribs) 22:04, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Actually i have a strong feeling these will be made into real cards since their starting to make obelisk and ra playable they might just tone down their effects a bit but since its rare to see such powerful creatures its a good possibility that fanbase and the fact they were on the show will lead to their creation,also note now that they have the egyptian gods and the norse gods im sure the greek or aztec gods will come next.Raventheblack (talk • contribs) 08:03, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

i guess and the whole greek gods part has kinda been touched upon already with cards like splendid venus and the agents but they might be separate things maybe they might come out with "goddess of war athena" and "god of lightning zeus" i would really be interested in seeing gods from shinto origin like amaterasu, susanoo, and tsokuyomi not like the spirit monsters but actual god cards Raiga (talk • contribs) 09:38, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah it would be interesting seeing Shinto origin cards especially susanoo and hopefully better than the naruto susanoo. I don't think they go into the divine section though because well they are only the gods of the sun and moon. Fallensilence (talk • contribs) 16:21, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Well they are very powerful, and the only Divine-Beast Synchros. Also, they're going to be splashable. • They are all broken, but I'd say that Thor and Odin are above Loki. Ha i called it,i said right from the start not only would they make these cards but make toned down versions of them,now they have to have specific monster types in their grave to remove in order to revive them meaning not only do you have to use a spefiic archetype just for 1 polar god it also means you have to have a hefty graveyard of monsters,ironically just as i guessed they kinda did make thors hammer a card:Magical Hammer of Mjöllnir,odin im sure will be toned down just like the other 2,honestly though i think Loki is the biggest threat of the 3.Raventheblack (talk • contribs) 15:24, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
