Biography[edit]

The Sacred Cards[edit]

Tea does not Duel. She could usually be found in the toy shop, where she asked the player if he had Dueled against other people. After the Battle City tournament began, she asked how the player was doing.

When spoken to after winning one Locator Card, she said that the player was doing well, but Joey Wheeler was having a rough time.

Tea met Marik Ishtar, who was using the disguise "Namu", when Joey brought him to the toy shop. She noted that the two seemed to have really hit it off.

Tea learned that the Ghouls were causing trouble in the city and hoped that nothing bad would happen. However Joey was brainwashed by Marik and sent to the toy shop to collect Tea, who was brought into the Ghouls captivity. The Ghouls threatened Tea and Joey's lives, if the player and Yugi Muto did not hand over their Decks and quit the tournament.

At the pier, Yugi and the player came face-to-face with Tea and Joey, who were then completely under Marik's brainwashing. Tea was given a suicide capsule, which she would swallow if Yugi refused to face Joey in a Duel where the loser gets dragged to the bottom of the ocean. However the player defeated Joey and Yugi managed to appeal to Joey's older self, returning him to normal. Tea was then also freed from Marik's control. Tea, Joey, Yugi and the player went back to the top shop afterwards. Tea had no memory of the time she was brainwashed and thanked the player for helping save her.

When her friends qualified for the Battle City finals, Tea accompanied them to the stadium site in order to support them. With only seven of the eight finalists present shortly before the cut-off time, Tea wondered if the eight was going to make it on time.
