This card can be searched by "Samsara D Lotus", "Spirit of Yubel", "Nightmare Throne", "Nightmare Pain", "Xtra HERO Infernal Devicer", "Fusion Deployment", "Mystic Potato", "Fusion Reserve", "Fusion Conscription", "Three-Eyed Ghost", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Mystic Tomato", "Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy", "Chaos Zone", "Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity", "Gizmek Makami, the Ferocious Fanged Fortress", "Chaos-End Master", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Piri Reis Map", and other generic searchers.

This card can be Special Summoned back from the GY with cards such as "Gruesome Grave Squirmer", "Opening of the Spirit Gates", "Eternal Favorite", and "Muckraker From the Underworld".

"Nightmare Pain", "Battle Mania", "All-Out Attacks", "Savage Colosseum", or "Yang Zing Unleashed", combined with "Final Attack Orders" can be used to force the opponent's monsters to attack this card.

Mass-destruction effects can be used to trigger its effect, instead of waiting the opponent to do so. Generic examples include "Dark Hole", "Torrential Tribute", etc. It can also be Special Summoned by a card that would ultimately lead to its destruction, such as "Doom Shaman", "Call of the Haunted", "Escape from the Dark Dimension", or "Limit Reverse".

Tokens and/or the likes of "Samsara D Lotus", "Samsara Lotus", or "Treeborn Frog" can be used as fodder to prevent this card from destroying itself.
- Alternatively, "Mound of the Bound Creator" can be used to keep this card on the field without having to Tribute a monster during the End Phase.

Using this card's End Phase effect to Tribute "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" will not only keep it from wiping your board, but will also trigger the effect of "Terror Incarnate" to Summon "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare". Conversely, letting "Terror Incarnate" go through will trigger this card.
