In episode 39, Don Zaloog uses this card during his Duel against Chazz Princeton. He Special Summons this card, "Dark Scorpion - Meanae the Thorn", "Dark Scorpion - Gorg the Strong", and "Dark Scorpion - Cliff the Trap Remover" via "Mustering of the Dark Scorpions". Don then activates "Dark Scorpion Combination" to let all five Dark Scorpions attack directly at the cost of each monster inflicting only 400 Battle Damage this turn. All five Dark Scorpions then attack directly. After the effects of "Gorg" resolve, this card's effect activates, forcing Chazz to return a set card he controls to his hand. Later Chazz sends "Despair from the Dark" from his hand to the Graveyard in order to activate "Armed Dragon LV7's" effect, destroying all monsters whose ATK is equal to or less than the ATK of the discarded monster. Don then activates "Dark Scorpion Retreat" to return all five Dark Scorpion monsters back to his hand. On Don's turn, he summons "Don Zaloog" and activates "Mustering of the Dark Scorpions" to summon the other Dark Scorpions, but Chazz activates "Ojama Trio" to summon three Ojama tokens to Don's field, so Don can now only summon one Dark Scorpion with "Mustering of the Dark Scorpions". Don chooses to summon only "Dark Scorpion - Meanae the Thorn". This card remained in Don's hand until the Duel was over.
