Officer Tetsu Trudge (Duel Generation)

Officer Tetsu Trudge is a Duelist Construct of Tetsu Trudge from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the opponent that the player faced in Stage 10-2 of the 5D's Campaign mode in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

AppearanceEdit

As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Tetsu Trudge, and the outfit is what he normally wore while being a officer of the Sector Security in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. Sector Security is a law enforcement agency led by a Director who commands the officer to maintain the duty of law and order in New Domino City, and as such, Tetsu being a officer must uphold the rule to bring balance toward the people living in the city.

EtymologyEdit

The name "Officer" refers to his occupation in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. His given name "Tetsu" is a name from a Japanese origin, and the most common meaning for the name is "strong". His surname "Trudge" comes from the term trudge which is defined as a long tiring walk.

In the French version, his name is "Officer Trudge" and his given name "Tetsu" was omitted. In the German version, he is simply refers to as "Trudge" and his occupation "Officer" along with his given name "Tetsu" was omitted. In the Italian version, his name is "Agent di sicurezza Trudge" which translates to "Agent of Security Trudge" or "Security Agent Trudge". Also, his given name "Tetsu" was omitted in the Italian version. In the Spanish version, his name is "Oficial Tetsu" which translates to "Officer Tetsu", and his surname "Trudge" was omitted.

RewardsEdit

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.
