Raid Duel - The Flames of Vengeance: Ccapac Apu! is an event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It allows the player to unlock Dark Signer Kalin Kessler as a playable character.

Event DetailsEdit
Challenging Ccapac ApuEdit
Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu must first spawn in the Event page. This can be done by Dueling in the Duel World (excluding the Gate), or by Dueling in Ranked Duels, which will increase the spawn rate of the Earthbound Immortal, while also rewarding Dark Signer Vestiges. After it spawns, the player can challenge it at any time in the Event page. Alternatively, the player can use the item Earthbound Immortal Beacon to instantly spawn it.
In Assist mode, the player does not need to wait for the Earthbound Immortal to spawn.
Even if the player does not succeed in defeating Earthbound Immortal Ccacap Apu, it can be challenged again by using Dark Signer Vestiges, until its LP reach 0.
Raid DuelsEdit
Duels against the Earthbound Immortal are conducted as Raid Duels. In this mode, Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu will spawn with a large amount of LP, but if the player does not manage to defeat it, the damage dealt during that Duel will be carried on to the next time it is challenged.
Raid Duels also feature Assist Duels, in which players can help others to defeat the Earthbound Immortal together. Before a player enters an Assist Duel, the damage dealt by other players will be subtracted from the Earthbound Immortal's starting LP. After one of the participant players finishes a Duel in which the total damage dealt by all players is greater than the Earthbound Immortal's original LP, all players who participated are rewarded, and they become available to assist other players (if a player is in the middle of a Duel when that happens, they will only be notified after the Duel ends).
Synchro Monsters the player controls will deal double battle damage to the Earthbound Immortal, while Signer Dragons will deal triple battle damage.
After October 11, 2019, the player can unlock Dark Signer Kalin Kessler as a playable character by defeating an Earthbound Immortal with a total of 520,000 points of damage.
Turbo DuelsEdit
After Dueling against the Earthbound Immortal 5 times, the player can challenge it again in a Turbo Duel.
In this mode, both duelists gain Speed Counters (up to a maximum of 12) by meeting the following conditions:
- At the beginning of each Standby Phase: +1 (for both Duelists)
- When the player Normal Summons a monster: +2
- When the player Synchro Summons a monster: +3
- When the player's monster is destroyed: -1
The EX Skill Speed Spell - Acceleration R also becomes available. It does not replace the player's normal Skill, and can apply the following effects by removing the player's Speed Counters:
- 2: Until the end of the turn, all monsters you control will inflict piercing battle damage when attacking a monster in Defense Position.
- 4: Play 1 Tuner monster from your Deck or hand.
- 6: Draw 1 card.
- 8: Double the ATK of all Synchro Monsters[Notes 1] you control until the end of this turn.
In addition, during this event's second run, this Skill also gained an additional effect which plays a monster on the player's field at the start of the Duel, which changed depending on the character they're using:

The Card Trader EX appears during this event and remained open until one week after its conclusion. The player can trade their EX Jewels for cards, Booster Items, and Gold. Each card and Booster Item can only be obtained once from the Card Trader EX during this event, but Gold can be obtained any number of times.
The second run of this event also featured Skill Chips for the first time.
