Zone (Duel Generation) |
Zone is a Duelist Construct of Z-one from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the boss that the player have to faced in a 2 out of 3 Match in the 5D's Campaign mode Stage 11-5 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

Appearance[edit]
As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Z-one, and the appearance comes from the time where Z-one has placed his old body placed into a machine in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. Though this character's image only shows the top half of Zone's body, and not the rest, his entire body is the machine itself with none of his actual body shown besides a little bit of his left face and eye.
Etymology[edit]
The name "Zone" comes from the term "zone" which has multiple meanings and connotations. Zone could comes from either zone, a area that is separate from other areas and given a different name depending on the circumstance, or zone defined as to entered a daydream state, or in geometry, a circumference. In the non-English version, his name is spelled as "ZONE" with the entire letters in his name being in all caps.
Rewards[edit]
There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.
As Zone is a boss character, the player had to faced him in 2 out of 3 Match which can takes hour to defeat and receive the rewards.
