Forum:New info about zexal

Ok. My sources (aka twitter) hasve brought to my attention new info about zexal, as well why do some exceed monsters have an N°. As shocking as it may sound, zeXal has a plot. Ok, as many of you may notice, i mean how to not notice, yuma has the pendant that looks exactly like the millenium Puzzle. ok ok, Konami has no creativity whatsoever, they just changed an 11 years old rule so they can sell the new ojamas. But ok ok. Ok, thats a good intro, here begins the news. the plot about Zexal is that throw the series, or just the first or first 2 arcs, yuma, in company of astral, will try to find the 99 exceed cards to get back Astral's lost memories. Now, lets be serious, 7 Millennium Items to get back Yami Yugi's mind back isnt like waaaay too much like finding the 99 cards to get back the exact same thing of the second series?.

Lol'ed by the above post! Excel Exceed? Anyway, I assumed that Zexal would show another crazy idea involving Yugioh (Duel Academy for GX, Motorcycles for 5d). But having that kind of plot? Similar to the original? The hell they're thinking?! To be honest 5D's plot almost separated the "children's card game" clause from the Yugioh franchise, but now they want to have it back! Guys seriously. Each manga/anime series has followed a very similar plot pattern, and has essentially just pushed a new type of card. Its nothing new to the concept. Takahashi DID say that he wanted to get back to the older theme. The pendant is similar, but it's not THAT similar-it's not the same shape, a lot smaller, and not really that big. Exceeds are the new thing-if the anime/manga center around them, then people are more likely to get them.BobaFett2 (talk) 19:19, February 25, 2011 (UTC)
