Divine-Beast, to any avid Yu-Gi-Oh player means one thing and one thing only: Trouble. For the sub-type of Divine-Beast are only listed on 3 cards, which are the "immortal" Egyptian God Cards: "Slifer the Sky Dragon", "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra". In Yu-Gi-Oh! R, the Wicked Gods are also shown as Divine-Beast cards.
These 3 God Cards are deemed as legendary and to be the most powerful cards in the entire game in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga, each having their own unique and devastating effects.
Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type, and as of yet, has no support. However, with the inclusion of the first legal Egyptian God Card, "Obelisk the Tormentor" as a V-Jump Promotional Card with the February 2009 issue, it will be the first (and currently only) official Monster Card of the "Divine-Beast" Type.
