Lists

Divine-Beast, to any insightful Yu-Gi-Oh player, means one thing and one thing only: Trouble. The sub-type of Divine-Beast is only listed on 3 cards, which are the "Immortal" Egyptian God Cards: "Slifer the Sky Dragon", "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra". In Yu-Gi-Oh! R, the Wicked Gods are also shown as Divine-Beast cards.

These 3 God Cards are deemed as legendary and to be the most powerful cards in the entire game in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! Manga, each having their own unique and devastating effects.

Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type, and as of yet, has no support. However, with the inclusion of the first legal Egyptian God Card, "Obelisk the Tormentor" as a V-Jump Promotional Card with the February 2009 issue and as a Shonen Jump Promo Card in the January 2010 issue, it became the first official Monster Card of the "Divine-Beast" Type. With the release of an effect monster version of "The Winged Dragon of Ra", there will be now two official monsters with the Divine-Beast type in the game. However, Obelisk is the only legal god card in TCG.
