Discard is a "way" of moving card from hand, normally to the Graveyard.

Cards can be discarded either by a card effect or cost that use the word "discard" as a term of this act, or due to hand size limit during the End Phase.

When a card is discarded, it is sent to the Graveyard as a result, unless an effect says otherwise.
