Divine-Beast is a Type used for the Egyptian God Cards: "Slifer the Sky Dragon", "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" and their legal reprints. In Yu-Gi-Oh! R, the Wicked Gods are also shown as Divine-Beast cards. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, the Aesir are also Divine-Beast monsters.
The 3 Egyptian God Cards are deemed as legendary and are considered the most powerful cards in the entire game in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga, each having their own unique and devastating effects.
Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type, and as of yet, has no support. However, legal reprints of "Obelisk the Tormentor", "Slifer the Sky Dragon", and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" have been released, confirming Divine-Beast as a legal type, that can be declared with cards such as "DNA Surgery".
