Banish is an act of moving card to Banished Zone, separating it from the Playing Field, it formerly known as being removed from play (often abbreviated as RFG or RFP) and called excluded from the game (ゲームから除外 gēmu kara jogai) in the OCG.

Cards can only be banished by card that use the word "banish" as a term of this act.
