Detach is an act of moving Xyz Material attached to an Xyz Monster, normally to the Graveyard.

Xyz Material can be detached either by a card effect or cost that use the word "detach" as a term of this act.

When a Xyz Material is detached, it is sent to the Graveyard as a result, unless an effect says otherwise.
