Divine-Beast is a Type used for the Egyptian God Cards: "Slifer the Sky Dragon", "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" and their legal reprints. In Yu-Gi-Oh! R, the Wicked Gods are also shown as Divine-Beast cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the Aesir are also Divine-Beast-Type monsters.
The 3 Egyptian God Cards are deemed as legendary and to be the most powerful cards in the entire game in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga, each having their own unique and devastating effects.
Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type, and as of yet, has no support. However, legal reprints of "Obelisk the Tormentor", "Slifer the Sky Dragon", and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" have been released.
Divine Type
In Reshef of Destruction, the divine type was given to monsters so that they would not be affected by the game's standard type system, which caused monsters of certain types to automatically destroy monsters of certain types.
