Divine-Beast is a Type used for the Egyptian God Cards: "Slifer the Sky Dragon", "Obelisk the Tormentor" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" and their legal reprints. In Yu-Gi-Oh! R, the Wicked Gods are also shown as Divine-Beast cards. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, the Aesir are also Divine-Beast monsters.
The 3 Egyptian God Cards are deemed as legendary and are considered the most powerful cards in the entire game in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga, each having their own unique and devastating effects.
Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type. However, legal reprints of "Obelisk the Tormentor", "Slifer the Sky Dragon", and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" have been released, confirming Divine-Beast as a legal type, that can be declared with cards such as "DNA Surgery". As of yet, there is no released support for Divine-Beast monsters.
