Raid Duel - Giant Grinder: The Meet-And-Greet of Nightmares is an event in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It allows the player to unlock Quattro as a playable character.

Event Details[edit]
Challenging Quattro[edit]
Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder must first spawn in the Event page. This can be done by Dueling in the Duel World (excluding the Gate), or by Dueling in Ranked Duels, which will increase the spawn rate of the Raid Boss, while also rewarding Invitations from Quattro.
After it spawns, the player can challenge it at any time in the Event page. Even if the player does not succeed in defeating Quattro, he can be challenged again by using Invitations from Quattro, until its LP reach 0. In Assist Duels, the player does not need to wait for Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder to spawn.
Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder can spawn at different Levels, ranging from Level 100 to Level 500 (but only in multiples of 100). The possible Levels in which Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder spawns increase as the player accumulates victories against it.
Unlocking Quattro[edit]
From July 1, 2021 onwards, the player can unlock Quattro as a playable character by defeating the Raid Boss with at least 2,300,000 event points.
Raid Duels[edit]
Duels against Quattro are conducted as Raid Duels. In this mode, Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder will spawn with a large amount of LP, but if the player does not manage to defeat it, the damage dealt during that Duel will be carried on to the next time it is challenged. Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder also uses the Skill "That's not good enough to defeat me!", which forcefully ends the Duel in a draw at the start of the opponent's turn from 10th turn onward.
Raid Duels also feature Assist Duels, in which players can help others to defeat Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder together. Before a player enters an Assist Duel, the damage dealt by other players will be subtracted from Giant Grinder's starting LP. After one of the participant players finishes a Duel in which the total damage dealt by all players is greater than Giant Grinder's original LP, all players who participated are rewarded, and they become available to assist other players (if a player is in the middle of a Duel when that happens, they will only be notified after the Duel ends).
Xyz Monsters will deal triple battle damage to Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder. In addition, "Number" monsters, "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" will deal five times more battle damage.

2-on-1 Tag Duel[edit]
After Dueling against Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder 5 times, the player can challenge it again in a 2-on-1 Tag Duel.
In this mode, the player is partnered with a Legendary Duelist against Quattro. Each Duelists takes turns based on the order: Quattro → Player → Quattro → Partner.
From the beginning of the event, the player can partner with Reginald "Shark" Kastle, who has the Skill "Armored Xyz". Starting on July 5, 2021, once the player has collected a total of 3,000,000 event points, they can instead choose to partner with Kite Tenjo, who has the Skill "Overlay Multiplier".

Damage Rank[edit]
The player will be assigned a Damage Rank based on the highest damage they dealt to Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder. The possible ranks are C, B, A, and S. The minimum amount of damage necessary to achieve each rank is updated hourly, and changes based on the tally. The exact method of calculating this value is unknown.
