- キュリオス (Kyuriosu) in the Japanese name is a transcription of the Greek word for "Lord", which was used in the Septuagint instead of the Abrahamic God's personal name Yahweh, and is the basis for all later translations of the Torah.
- While most of the TCG names assume this androgynous monster is male, the French name assumes they are female, with the feminine form of the adjective for "curious", Curieuse (not Curieux), and a feminine title, la Dominatrice (not le Dominateur).
- This card is the first Link Monster, and the third overall Extra Deck Monster (after "Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn" and "Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn"), for the "Lightsworn" archetype.
