* Since combo Decks usually consider this card when building their boards, it is not uncommon the opponent will have a way to [[negate]] this card before their 5th Summon. Combining this card with other [[hand trap]]s, such as "[[Effect Veiler]]" and "[[Infinite Impermanence]]", allows this card to be activated at a better moment, without having to worry about the opponent negating it.
* After activating this card's effect, if it leaves the hand before resolving (e.g. to activate the effect of "[[Labrynth Chandraglier]]") or restricts themselves from Summoning this card (e.g. activating the effects of "[[Orcust]]" monsters as Quick Effects via "[[Orcustrated Babel]]" that prevent the player from Special Summoning non-DARK monsters for the rest of the turn), the opponent's monsters will still be [[Tribute]]d, but neither this card or the "[[Primal Being Token]]" will be Summoned. This can be useful to avoid Summoning a Token with high [[ATK]]/[[DEF]] which the player cannot get rid of.
* This card is most effectively used against a field with plenty of [[Link Monster]]s; since they have no DEF, the Summoned "Primal Being Token" won't gain DEF from them, and can potentially be easily destroyed by battle (if Summoned in Defense Position, and assuming any other Tributed monsters had low-enough DEF).
* For Decks that struggle to put some form of effect negation before their 5th Summon, "[[Crossout Designator]]" can [[banish]] a copy of "Nibiru, the Primal Being" from the player's Deck in order to negate the opponent's.
* As this card's effect Tributes [[face-up]] monsters only, "[[Book of Eclipse]]" can be chained in response to this card's effect to change the user's face-up monsters to [[face-down]] [[Defense Position]], thus allowing the player to keep all of their non-Link Monsters, which are then changed to face-up Defense Position during the end of the turn for their effects to be used during the opponent's turn, though it comes with the drawback of letting the opponent draw a card for each monster that is flipped face-up.
* Since this card must be able to be Summoned in order to activate its effect, cards that place Summoning restrictions on the opponent (e.g. "[[Gigantic Spright]]", "[[El Shaddoll Winda]]", [[Barrier Statue]] monsters) can prevent it from being activated.
