In ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL]]'', the title is not mentioned. However, a different one (known as the "Dueling Champion") is, being awarded to the winner of the [[World Duel Carnival]]. [[Yuma Tsukumo]] is shown to be interested in obtaining it the same way Jaden was interested in the King of Games title. It is likely that both are the same title, but it has not been confirmed. Regardless, Yuma won the WDC and is currently the Dueling Champion.
