* In the anime, this card can only be [[Special Summon]]ed if you control a "[[Sad Story - Dreadful Day]]", "[[Sad Story - Sorrowful Memories]]" and a "[[Sad Story - Unwavering Truth]]", Misty then used her [[Sorrowful Chain]] to summon out this card.
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Episode 060|episode 60]], [[Misty Tredwell]] used this card in her Ground Duel against [[Akiza Izinski]]. She Special Summons this card via "[[Sorrowful Chain]]". This card then attacks Akiza directly. Due to this card's effect, Akiza sends "[[Hedge Guard]]" from her hand to the Graveyard and Misty draws one card.
* In episode 61, Akiza destroyed this card, twice, the first time when Black Rose Dragon attacked it. She activated it's effect and sent '[[Sad Story - Sorrowful Memories]]" to her graveyard to special summon it, then equipped it with "[[Reptilianne Rage]]", but was stopped by [[Rose Blizzard]]. Akiza then used Black Rose Dragon's effect to drain it's attack to 0, she then sent [[Sad Story - Unwavering Truth]] to the graveyard to special summon it again, and due to Reptulianne Rage's effect, attacked Black Rose Dragon. She then equipped it with "[[Advance Force]] to tribute it in order to summon [[Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua]].
