Ladies and gentlemen behold the mightiest card in all of not just Yu-Gi-Oh! but Anime existence! This beast can take on even the strongest anime characters ever, I'm referring to Goku and Vegeta. Behold the combination of the mightiest warriors' worst nightmares! Needle Worm!

But yeah let me know which cards you think are the most powerful but not used much. Broken effects but underused. Each format we can discuss new 'Super' Monsters with beastly ATK/DEF yet can't be used due to drawbacks, let's see if we can actually incorparate them into competitve decks, taking the drawbacks into account.
I'll start things off with an old card, Rainbow Neos. Easy fit into Fusion Gate HEROES and Chain Material you only need one turn, he alone can reset your opponent's front row/back row/grave back to the deck! Which is pretty broken! So let me know what other powerful underused cards that can have massive potential. And the best thing is, your opponents won't see it coming :) Be creative and original :P

Oh I have another one to add, Darkness Neosphere, this guy is a tank of a beat stick, it has perfect synergy with an Evil HERO Deck. Incorporate rocks into it also and you get an overwhelming Evil HERO Dark Gaia. The best rocks out there are the Koa'ki Meiru, maybe a sort of anti-meta deck with Dark Calling.
People have tried a Ritual variant where a Rock and Fiend/Demon( in JAP) are used as materials and re-used for Dark Gaia. Alongside Dark Gaia Darkness Neosphere can cause an easy OTK. Also don't forget his effect with traps you can incorporate Red Screen as a stall tactic. Personally I think I'll try this one out. Oh another thing, this guy alongside Royal Decree can render your opponents Traps useless. :) Superboltboy (talk • contribs) 20:25, July 6, 2011 (UTC)SBB
::? I don't see SVSU or VWXYZ-CC used very often. I got the idea from looking at Fusions I don't have the materials for. Also, Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare? @ 20:43, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
Armityle the Chaos Phantom In my opinion, this is the most powerful card, Armityle the Chaos Phantom. I mean seriously, it can't be destroyed by battle and it's ATK goes up to 10,000! If the Creator God of Light, Horakhty and the Crimson Dragon were cards, than they would be the strongest as well.
Angering me will be your greatest mistake... 15:15, July 7, 2011 (UTC)Digimaster1

::::::::::::::It gains over 9000 ATK on your turn, but you'll need LP protection since it has 0 ATK any other time. Also, it's ATK can be a major disadvantage sometimes. @ 15:21, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

:::::::::::::::Maybe you could use Royal Decree and a non-trap that prevents battle damage to protect it (and yourself)? @ 16:59, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

While we're on the topic of Armityle, Hamon and Uria are quite decent, when you build the right Deck for them. Hamon meshes with the Crystal Beasts and can surprise the opponent with a 4000 ATK-out-of-nowhere, while Uria can lock down the opponent with a series of Continuous Traps while destroying S/Ts without fear of responses. Not to mention abusing Magic Planter. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 15:56, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

This is what I'm talking about :) Hamon can easily be integrated into Crystal Beast Decks, almost 90% of the time he is a much better choice than Rainbow Dragon, same power better effect. I would go for a beatdown variant. As for Uria is more of a straight forward Traps deck, perhaps revolve around heavy trap anti-spell. I am sounding contradictory but Armityle the Chaos Phantom is just too hard to bring out, I would love to see someone bring him out nicely. Superboltboy (talk • contribs) 16:48, July 7, 2011 (UTC)SBB

::::::::::::::You could use Elemental HERO Prisma and Phantom of Chaos to make it easier. @ 16:59, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

How in the world is Needle Worm any good?

-_- Needle + Worm= Gogeta's nightmare, it was a joke :P Hence why I said this thread is light toned. There are too many serioous YGO players nowadays :S. 86.42.245.27 (talk) 19:09, July 7, 2011 (UTC)SBB

Sorry, I wasn't sure if that was a joke or not.

-_- You don't know what DBZ is? :( Ok nevermind. Anyone with some cool ideas you're welcome to submit them :) I already managed an Anti-Meta Dark Gaia Fiend Deck (I'll post it up soon, still a prototype). I do know what DBZ is. It's one of my favorite Manga.

Ah yeah love DBZ, currently rewatching everything, anyway let's focus on the thread :) Tried out the Dark Gaia Deck. it definately can work, using Doomcalibur Knight and Kao'ki Meiru Support mix in Dark Calling and Boom! It can work pretty well competitively. Superboltboy (talk • contribs) 00:28, July 8, 2011 (UTC)SBB

I would say that red nova dragon is the strongest, it may not look like it, but red nova dragon equipped with misty body, he cant be destroyed. --I will Become #1 for everything I do best at! (talk • contribs) 23:57, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe not the most powerful, but there are 2 rarely used cards that win me a lot of duels. Yamata Dragon can be a +5 in the right deck. and not only once, but each turn! Not easy to use, but it can be really powerful. The other one is Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. I have an anti-meta deck with a lot of continuous traps, and I usually summon this guy with 15000+ ATK in the lategame (Stronger than any other card can possibly be). Sadly, it's a -2 card when summoned, so if the opponent negates its summon, you will most likely lose the duel. But with enough MST and Night Beam, it can be deadly.

I would not say its your best combo, how are you going to get the one dragon on the field if it keeps going back to your hand? --I will Become #1 for everything I do best at! (talk • contribs) 22:50, September 17, 2012 (UTC)

The Tyrant Neptune - this card can be very powerfull with the right monster combintion, for example heres some combo with other monster's effects: Judgement Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, Gladiator Beast Heraklinos, Scar-Red Nova Dragon, legendary Six Samurai Shi-En and etc... --SINFULL PARADOX (talk • contribs) 23:09, July 18, 2012 (UTC) Back in the day, when the gladiator beast decks were one of the feared decks to play against, this card was a true beast on the field -ENGladiator Beast Heraklinos. -ScR-1E108.225.20.64 In my opinion(talk) 23:18, July 18, 2012 (UTC) With several years' worth of packs and support reducing the difficulty in summoning her, this is I can still safely say that Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes still stands as pretty much the most powerful cardof all time (barring only two clear weaknesses). --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 08:50, July 19, 2012 (UTC) The strongest card is a Blank Card--LaserGhost (talk • contribs) 10:31, July 19, Armityle 2012 (UTC):Oh ho, I see what you did there. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 12:23, July 19, 2012 (UTC) ::Come on, being able to get a card fitting the situation? Good Memories back in the day when the game first started. Also just in case all of your pieces of Exodia are in the graveyard: you can rely on Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden One which gains 1000 atk for each vanila card and gives you an automatic win if all EXODIA pieces are in the graveyard. --108.225.20.64 (talk) 23:14, August 3, 2012 (UTC) one problem with exodius, you have to use his effect to get the 5 into the graveyard. instead if all 5 are in the graveyard, use exodia necros. if you can use necrovally, and a card that prevents the destruction of the field spell, as wellas use imperial iron wall, and prevent its destruction, necros can be practically invincible.but I'd still go with nova dragon with misty body. --I will Become #1 for everything I do best at! (talk • contribs) 22:50, September 17, 2012 (UTC) What about MY favorite? For example, When I begin, I attempt to draw future fusion and marriage dragon. With those two cards, I can annihilate almost any opponent. I use future fusion to put three blue stone of legend's into my graveyard plus 2 other dragons to form the 5 headed dragon in 2 turns, this allows me to summon my 3 blue eyes white dragons to my hand from my deck. Then I can summon marriage dragon by sacrificing 3 blue eyes white dragons to give it a att strength of 7200, making it far more powerful than almost any other monster. I could make it even stronger by sacrificing any Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's I have in my hand instead of any of the blue eyes, giving it a bonus of 600 att points per one. This gives it a maximum possible att power of 9000. If I was really keen, I could sacrifice malefic truth dragons, maximising its att power to a total of 10800, which is a little ridiculous, but if someone had a monster in att mode, you could almost guarantee that you would win that turn...129.78.233.210 (talk) 16:48, June 9, 2011 2013 (UTC)Digimaster1
