This card is similar to "The Seal of Orichalcos" as both Spells are used by antagonists and are a key part in their respective anime series' plots.
- This card can be seen as a counterpart to "The Seal of Orichalcos" - a card that in the anime possesses the controller.

This card's effect is similar to "Mask Change" and "NEX" since they are Spell/Trap Cards that target a monster and Special Summon their superior versions from the Extra Deck with a Level/Rank higher than the previous target.
- "Assault Mode Activate" and "Metamorphosis" have the same principle as well.

This card has a weaker version of itself; "Rank-Up Magic - Limited Barian's Force".
