[[Nash]] treats the seven "[[Number C10X|Chaos Over-Hundred Number]]s" ("[[Number C101: Silent Honor DARK]]", "[[Number C102: Archfiend Seraph]]", "[[Number C103: Ragnafinity]]", "[[Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade]]", "[[Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus]]", "[[Number C106: Giant Red Hand]]" and "[[Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon]]") on the [[Playing Field|field]] as [[Level]] 7 [[Monster Card|monster]]s and [[Xyz Material|overlay]]s them to [[Xyz Summon]] "[[CXyz Barian Hope]]" (0/0) from his [[Extra Deck]] in [[Attack Position]] via its own [[card effect|effect]]. It gains 1000 [[ATK]] for each of its [[Xyz Material|Chaos Overlay Units]] (0 → 7000). As his opponent Special Summoned an [[Xyz Monster]], [[Yuma Tsukumo|Yuma]] [[activate]]s his [[face-down]] "[[Overlay Assistance]]", letting him [[draw a card]] for each Overlay Unit attached to the Summoned monster, meaning seven. Nash activates the effect of "Barian Hope", [[target]]ing one of its Overlay Units and allowing him to either detach it or [[pay]] 400 [[Life Points]], in order to activate that targeted Overlay Unit's monster effect that would be activated by detaching an Overlay Unit(s).

Nash chooses to pay 400 Life Points (Nash 3500 → 3100) to activate the effect of "[[Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon(anime)|Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon]]", [[negate|negating]] the effects of all other cards on the field until the [[End Phase]] and [[return]]ing all cards to the same position they were in at the start of the [[turn]], as well as preventing Yuma from activating the effects of cards on the field this turn. As the ATK of a monster was changed, Nash pays another 400 Life Points (Nash 2700 → 2300) to activate the effect of "Ragnafinity", inflicting [[effect damage|damage]] to Yuma equal to the difference in the previous and current ATK of "Utopia", which is 2500. As a monster effect would inflict damage to him, Yuma activates "[[Ant Barrier]]" from his [[hand]] via its own effect, reducing the damage to 0 and changing "Utopia" to [[Defense Position]]. Nash Sets all three cards.
