* This monster may derive its name from the [[wikipedia:Cairn_Gorm|Cairn Gorm]] (Gaelic: An Càrn Gorm, meaning Blue or Green Hill), a mountain in the Scottish Highlands overlooking Strathspey and the town of Aviemore.
* The yellow mist emerging from Caingorgorm's head appears to be a larval form of "[[Shaddoll RootsCore]]," which is further supported by his head appearing in its artwork.
** As they have the same head, it would appear this monster eventually becomes "[[El Shaddoll Egrystal]]."
* The jewel in this monster's chest appears in the artwork of "[[El Shaddoll Midrash]]", in the staff of the puppet version of "[[Winda, Priestess of Gusto]]".
