:::: i am aware it will still set off Absolute Zero and Quasar (though i kinda forgot that detail when i was writng my reply above, whoops). when i said i don't understand why, I meant in general. though it does NOT count as "leave the field" when you are sent to deck, the article you link says so itself "From September 1, 2011 onward, when a card on the field is moved into the Main Deck, that card cannot activate its "leaves the field" effect." and says as much in the Rule book. Thanks for the explanation, it always confused me as to why sent to deck doesn't count while sent to extra deck does.
