He appeared briefly in a flashback in the ''Yu-Gi-Oh'' anime when buying the Millennium Ring. He has dark blue hair and wears glasses.
In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions]], he appears in a flashback when Ryou Ryo was four. Unlike the manga and anime, he attempted to buy the Ring from [[Shadi]] and was tested. The Ring rejected him and approved Ryou, and Mr. Bakura, along along with everyone but [[Aigami]] and [[Sera]]while it approved his son proved Ryo, was He and Shadi were killed by [[Yami Bakura]]. Neither Amane nor his wife are mentionedthough.
