*Franz could theoretically have won on his first turn, by using Ra's "[[Egyptian God Phoenix]]" effect to destroy "Necroid Shaman" and "Neos", followed by paying 1499 Life Points to boost Ra's ATK to 4799. A direct attack on Jaden at that point would have resulted in an [[OTK]], as Jaden had not played "Damage-Off Zone" until later. It is unknown why Franz did not do this.
