* In the Waking the Dragons story arc, [[Dragon Master Knight]] was used again against [[Dartz]] along with the trap card [[Meteorain]] in an attempt to wipe him out early. However the damage was absorbed by [[Orichalcos Kyutora]].
*In the Dawn of the Duel arc, Atem fused himself together with his Black Luster Soldier, who in turn fused with Seto's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to created Dragon Master Knight. He the fought Zorc. While Zorc managed to defeat the creature, it took a great effort as well as being injured in the process.
