* In the Japanese version, [[Hobson]], the Kaiba family butler, wakes [[Seto Kaiba|Kaiba]] during his lessons by rapping a switch switchblade across the books in front of him. The switch switchblade is removed from the dub.
* A shot of a long table laden with food, and young Kaiba and [[Mokuba Kaiba|Mokuba]] sitting quietly across from each other, is cut from the dub.
