Since the late 2016, the archetype name was capitalized as "RANA" for the Spanish and Italian prints to make it more distinguishable, similar to how the "[[HERO]]" archetype is capitalized in all ''[[TCG]]'' prints.
All members of members the "Frog" archetype and the supporting "Toad" cards have their Japanese names designed to be intended as puns. These puns are mostly based off the fact that the word for "Frog" (ガエル ''Gaeru'') and "Toad" (カエル ''Kaeru'') is a homonym for many other Japanese words also pronounced as ''Kaeru'' and ''Gaeru''. These have been removed from the ''[[TCG]]'' names, if not replaced by other puns, since the Japanese puns are largely untranslateable.
