* "Alius" is Latin for "another".
* Most people assume that this card is [[Elemental Hero Neos]]' younger self. But since this card's name literally translates into "another" [[Neos]], it is possible that this card is not [[Elemental Hero Neos]] himself, or possibly his side-kick.
* This card is one of the non-fusion [[Elemental Heroes]] with lots of utility. Its 1900 ATK made it a good beatstick, its [[LIGHT]] attribute made it able to use [[Honest]]'s effect, its [[Warrior]] type and [[Elemental Hero]] archetype made it searchable via [[Elemental Hero Stratos]], [[E - Emergency Call]], and [[Reinforcement of the Army]]. Finally, it's [[Gemini]] sub-type made it able to use the effects of [[Gemini Spark]] and [[Hero Blast]].
* [[Elemental Hero Captain Gold]] and [[Elemental Hero Neos Alius]] are the only [[Elemental Heroes]] who haven't made an appearance in either the Anime or the Manga.
